They only people who give me problems are people who are slightly older than me. I was in junior high when I started to like New Order. Other than that, no one knows what I'm talking about. *smile*

I don't have a hard time liking NO for that song... but to be honest I do enjoy it simply coz Argentineans get to the finals for that World Cup.

Most people I know think they're pretty cool. I don't think I know anybody who 'hates' them.
I have no friends, no relatives, no colleagues, no neighbours who even KNOW New Order.
Musically I live in a very lonely place.
I'm just glad Mari en Geri post on this forum too so I know there are at least two other big fans of New Order in Holland.

Here in France we have two types of NO fans: hardcore ones who'd been following them for years (at least mid-eighties) and new ones who discovered NO with 'Get Ready'. And of course they don't sell much down here (maybe apart from 'Republic' ?). Personnaly I've never had a hard time because of my liking JD/NO :D

Aww! But I know how it feels 
My current colleagues have no idea who they are, neither does my family. Some of my friends know them, but that's because they're musicfanatics like myself.
Funny thing though, I mentioned at job interviews ("So what are your hobbies...") that I love music, giving New Order as an example of my taste, and twice already, the interviewers started nodding and smiling with appreciation.
