I am a bit out of sorts...no Goldblade tour this summer in the U.S., no New Order tour...

Have you noticed that New Order these days play only where Mary Kate and Ashely Olsen have made movies? (London, Sydney, and Paris).

Did someone buy the Olsen twins an old worn-out band to manage for their birthdays?

Put it this way Gnu - being the deliberately perverse old sod that I am - I might even have left GoldBlade before they even get near to doing a US tour.....

.....thoughts of quitting always runs thru my mind anyway..... I'm not one to stay around for the long haul with anything, as other onliners here will be able to clearly testify.....

You don't love Goldblade, do you? You love to play, you're happy for the opportunity, but...you're older now, and these young'uns in the audience, they don't understand. You're lugging around kick drums into stinking dives so drunk dumbasses can act like little rock 'n' roll lemmings and pogo around. You want to draw the crowd that would gather afterward to discuss Mike Thorne's influence on 154, and instead you get bombed Led Zep fans who like to tell you that they play drums too and that's cool and shit.
