Is it any good? A local music store has a used copy, so I was wondering if anyone would recommend it.

There is more good stuff than bad on it IMHO. If it's cheap, why not go for it.

I've seen it around, but for some reason hearing Billy Corgan croak "Radio, live transmission" keeps me from picking it up.....

Err, Tabsy, I didn't know that Billy C. was in Low, which is the group that does Transmission on the album. That's alright though cause the version of Isolation that Billy sings on is something you probably don't want to hear either.....

As for the album, it's probably worth buying at a discounted price. I'll always keep my copy, but that's just cause I'm a Kendra Smith fan.

BC has nothing whatsoever to do with Low. and never had anything whatsoever to do with Low.

the only instance in which you'll hear BC's voice is during "Isolation" on that disc, as StarChildren was a Pumpkins side project that he was involved in...along with members of Catherine. (the only things that they released publicly, to my knowledge, were in fact this song and a split limited-edition 7" that was a nice blinding white with Catherine, when Catherine launched "Songs About Girls" as a single...that SC track was called "Delusions of Candor/Flight of the Eagle." :D )

so you're safe...from that particular nightmare. :evil4:

I was thinking about my cousin telling me how they cover Transmission live, that's what I was thinking of when I said that. It's been so long since I've seen that disc around, I forgot about almost all the track listings.
