Looking for some help on this:crazy:

I am looking to buy a lp pressing of Still that contains the extra track Twentfourhours on as its not on the cd version.

anyone any info as to what pressing this extra track is on apparently, its only on certain pressings, ie is it the Hessian with the ribbon on it, or the cardboard one, or what about the white sleeve copy?

thanks in advance:thumb:

I've got the standard cardboard (grey)sleeve copy and it's on there yes

All vinyl copies and no CD copies is the answer, about to be rectified with the upcoming reissues.

I have the white sleeve version, and it is definitely on that. I'm not sure it is on all vinyl versions, I seem to recall a discussion on JDC where it wasn't on the one vinyl release.

As I like to say, let's hope so.

I think it would be nice if '24 Hours' was added to the reissued 'Still'. Very, very nice.

RIP :ian: :shine:

p.s. yes, that was me saying we need an ian emotie.

From Joy Division Central:

"Secret track: LP versions of this album have 24 Hours (live) as an uncredited 6th track on side 3. CD versions don't have this track (possibly due to lack of space on the disc?) We think the earlier cassette releases it, while the later versions don't. "

It sounds as though all vinyl versions and (at the very least) the earlier cassettes have "Twenty Four Hours (live)", but uncredited...

The standard Factory cassette version I have (bought in about 87) doesn't have 24 Hours, although maybe I should listen again just to check... :eek3:

The 'Hessian' cassette box version does contain 24 Hours...as to how much it's worth I paid 99p for one on eBay a year or so ago.

The Canadian cassette version has it.

Maybe I should put that on eBay - dont even have a cassette player anymore.
