New Order to carry on without Peter Hook? Band to continue despite bassist's walk out
New Order without bassist Peter Hook after band members Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris issued a statement today (July 20) saying they vowing to continue.
The pair's statement comes after former bassist Hook claimed recently that he is not working with his bandmates anymore.
Sumner and Morris declared: "After 30 years in a band together we are very disappointed that Hooky has decided to go to the press and announce unilaterally that New Order have split up. We would have hoped that he could have approached us personally first. He does not speak for all the band, therefore we can only assume he no longer wants to be a part of New Order."
Last week's Hook told NME.COM that the band was over explaining: "We've decided not to work together anymore. It's been on-off-on for a while and last time we just went out separate ways."
Sumner and Morris did not reveal any plans about the band's future without Hook, only to declare that "New Order have NOT split up, they continue to exist".

OK. This is weird. I had a conversation this morning with a bloke I've known for years who is a big part of "the scene" up here. He insited that they are being offered for festivals next year with the bloke who plays Ian Curtis in the movie joining them on stage for a JD set. He insisted he wasn't at the wind up and said that this is what was behind Geoff Ellis's comments in the Daily Record the other week about getting Joy Divisoon to do next year's T In The Park.
Shirley not?![]()
can anyone actually confirm that this is a proper statement from barney and steve or are NME just making this up?

You never know, Stephen & Bernard might just become the new Pet Shop Boys.
It's that time in the career when they have to drag out the Session Musician directory. Calling Pino Paladino....
...there's always Mark King (Twaaaaang!)

Nah...Simon Gallup...sounds more like Hooky than Hooky does!!!
right???
Right, whens the tour :)
Anyways... the Bunnymen are still class and there is only two of the originals left.
Hooky should invite Gillian to join Freebass. That would set the cat among the pigeons. Trouble at farm. Tanks amok.
Go on Hooky, you know it makes sense. 2 vs 2. Genius from chaos. Music's always the winner. Or is it the bookies ?
If they do replace Hooky I hope it's someone who stands and glowers at the audience like the Hook of old rather than the chimp running around like a twat for the last few years.
There's a set worth of material that wouldn't rely on his sound I'm sure....

I can vouch for Pino Paladino - hes currently playing with the Who. He is a very accomplished Bass player.
They´ve made Hooky´s motion-capture during the WFTSC sessions, so the idea for the next tour would be put Barney, Steven and Phil playing live against a blue screen, then project the CGI Hook and create new basslines digitally. ![]()
...So the new album could have Peter Jackson as producer perhaps?

And remember that Pete de Freitas sounded so important to Echo & The Bunnymen with his-only-style of playing drums, as Hook sounds to New Order with his bass. Neverthless, music is not a exact science this proves its the possibility.
Instead of replacing Hooky, is the norm not that Barney will take his position and they can audition for a new singer ?

Got to be those three or no three. It could all go a bit Stone Roses at Reading I think. Don't like the idea of them doing Joy Division songs with an actor singing either. I can understand people wanting to still see them live, but without Hooky it isn't new order. although i'd still go, obviously, in case they do face up.

Ah bugger. I'm going straight back to bed and when I reawaken this will all have been a bad dream.
You've all made a quantum leap.
Sure, NO can exist without Hooky. They won't play live, but will either have Bernard doing bass in the studio, or get someone in to do it.
Bernard is well known for his not wanting to play live, and doesn't exactly take much persuasion to not gig.
There won't be (m)any more gigs if they do carry on without Hooky, even if they get Jim Reilly Jim Reilly on bass!
The one positive thing that could come out of this statement is that if New Order are still technically a going concern then we might get a Sirens' Leftovers release sooner rather than later. The label spent money on the studio time so they've got to want some sort of return. Unless of course they've forgotten they even have New Order on their roster (likely).
There's no reason why Barney, Phil and Steve couldn't do a Let's Go 1995-like job on the remaining '05/06 material and put it out as a 2 disc deluxe edition of WFTSC to get a few more sales in the bag.
Live-wise it definitely wouldn't be the same without Hooky but I'd still make an effort to get to gigs.
Got to say the NO + Sam Reilly live idea sounds really, really shit and I'd rather they just ended it instead of doing that... leave just a hint of credibility behind for the legacy.
I expect Hookys reaction to be the same as what he stated before. Something like, 'Sure they can continue, but not under the name New Order. We made a pact that when one member leaves for any reason, the remaining members must drop the existing name,' whatever something like that crappy statement.
I wonder why Phil does not talk??![]()

Could it have something to do with the fact that he isnt anything more than a stand in session player?
for me anyway
For a 'stand in' Phil has lasted a pretty impressive 7 years. Don't put the guy down, not his fault he joined the band BY INVITE 20 years late.
Indeed!
Phil, Barney and Steve as New Order.. wonder how they'd sound?
Would they sound like the second half of Republic which as I understand was Hooky-less with a little bit of guitar noodling, like "Hey Now What you doing"?
That doesn't sound like New Order to me. :(
Not sure bout this one,Hooky's bass IS the quintessential (prob spelt wrong) sound of new order and personally i dont think anyone else could pull it off.

I think they'll be bigger than Pink Floyd!! Or maybe someone else said that the last time a band member left. I forget.
I'd think it would be great if they carried on but that means that they have to do something... release the rest of the WFSTC or make a new one. I hope they do either soon but I won't put money on it. This would be the year to do it with Control and 100 Joy Division offspring bands out there.
They could ask ME!!!
And I could bring my new axe! My lovely IBANEZ Active Bass!!

Hopefully this is all a storm in a teacup anyway, looks like Barney & Steve are calling Hooky's bluff...and if the egos get sorted out hopefully it will be businesses as usual. But how sad is it the band are communicating by media release?

Maybe they can get a producer to do most of the music now, just like Depeche Mode. And be a live Joy Division tribute band with a session guitarist and session bassist, with Steve on drums, and Bernard dancing badly or something. And become a big joke.
Bernard and Steve can still go on and make music, thou to be honest they don't seem terribly inspired at this point. Just don't pretend that they are the same.
I think this is all about keeping their options open rather than let Hooky decide it's over for them.
Time will tell, I'm sure there's no great rush at the moment to do much of anything.

Each to their own. I think it's the best news I've read on this forum all year. The proverbial two fingers up at Hooky. Can't wait to see what he's gonna come back with now in the next salvo. Bit of an unrealistic comparison really as the drummer had no choice in a reunion (he's dead).
I'm not sure it will work even if they get a shit-hot bass player (such as Guy Pratt for example). Its also about chemistry on a stage and they will lose a lot of that. We'll be left with Sumners running on the spot and 'whoo-hoo' in the middle of every song - not sure I'd wanna pay 30 quid to see that.
Equally The Damned are but a very poor shadow of themselves with two original members.

Nice Le Coq Sportif kit we had in those days.
Hope that the other three release something with or without Hook. Most of us will buy it, hate it, say terrible things about it and listen several times a week. (Just like the other releases)
Can't say I'm thrilled about this. Will give any Hooky-free NO a fair listen though.
As for filling the bass slot: that guy out of the Cure sounds just like him...
Honestly, what would be the fookin' point? Why carry on as NEW ORDER,& I'm trying to ask a pertinant question, but what would be the relevance now? It's one thing to record/release/tour with what amounts to the original line-up,being labelled as legendary & respected to the hilt, with diminishing returns both in sales & plaudits, but to carry on under said respected/legendary/mythical name, just amounts to tainting all that has gone before.Ok,I wouldn't want to shoot down in flames any propective release by Barney & Steve by saying Hooky was the creative force, because he was one of 3/4,but it wouldn't be NEW ORDER however you look at it.Maybe I'm just a purist, but also maybe,one/quite a lot of people on here are also getting letting their hearts rule their heads. It's ok to love & cherish what we have & have had,but another to let all that get sullied.& I mean this with utmost respect to Barney,Steve & Phil too.I'm up for the point of the statement being to keep their options open,as Hooky does not obviously speak for the band, fair enough, but I'd rather them call it a day right now than to see that name become a fookin' parody of what the legendary status that they now hold. ![]()

Steve and Barney should change the name and get a new bassist. My choice? The ubercool Kim Deal.
Didn't we have all these same comments when Gillian left the band?!

Yeah, would agree Hooky's integral to the New Order sound. Might actually even be the New Order sound.
But he's hardly acted kindly throughout all of this. And it's not like we're reading his thoughts second hand either, they're taken straight from his blog.
I think it's +ve that Barney and Steve want to carry on as New Order. Hooky has left the band, little more. One man alone can't really split the band up. Hooky won't be happy with it, but then we've all been there before. How many of us have dumped a bird we really don't want to be with, but then have a hissy fit when we see her carrying on with her life, happy as larry with someone else?! C'est la vie, etc.
BRILLIANT! I hope in time Hooky rejoins after he realises the pointlessness of Freebass though (IMHO mind you!) =]

Do they put guitar notation on his autocue?
To me, this is good news. How I see it is that the three of them (or the four of them) didn't all agree to disband. It's just one pig-headed band member who is dissatisfied with something making a hiss about it. It's like "if you don't want to do this, then I'm living" and the rest of the band still haven't call him back so the situation is how it is now. If Sumner and Morris still want to continue, then there's still a chance that they'll convince Hook to come back. That's much better than if all of them decided to split, that's 3 to convince to go back together.
You know, I did note the Angels were gonna have a field day, but I never really spoke up on this myself.
Chuffed to podge.
For one, good news, good news, and good news.
So Hooky's left the band. News flash: Big fookin' deal! While it's a bit of a bummer that the Bassman's jumped ship [and behind his bandmates' backs even, mind you!!], I still have some hope that it'll probably be all for the best. Barney and Steve'll probably never play live again, but I still think that if they crank up some synths and guitars and can still pull off a killer Blue Monday then, fookin' hell!! Go for it, boys! ![]()

True, but I think Bernard, if his reputation as song architect is based on truth, often let Hooky do the riffing since guitar and vocals simultaneously were a bit difficult. In other words, the music and aesthetic evolved partly to suit needs; whatever Hooky claims, he rarely played super high on the bass during JD's days, he sounded a lot more like Wobble than the Hooky of today. The music will continue to evolve to suit needs, as Get Ready and WFTSC demonstrated the need/desire to return the prominence of (some) distorted, punky guitar.

She's wild yet can't see much chance of it. Never have the NO alchemy w/ out Peter Hook Bass. Will the parties concerned simply Kiss an make- up. Re- Record Brotherhood- 'Way of Life. That WFTSC as an ablum and Krafty at its slickest gets slagged at all, think, is more than slightly insane. Official site Catching the headline front page BBC.co.uk last night. Without Hooky's bass, New Order will sound like a 3rd-rate band (i.e. shit) - bit like Depeche Mode! :p

The more I think about this, the more I think it's maybe just Barney & Steve saving face and trying not to spoil their future.
It's like, when they last took a long break, 93-98, they never once said they'd "split" but it was generally assumed so. I don't think Barney & Steve like the idea that Hooky has said that "split" word. Because that then means when and if they do get back together it looks like a money-making reunion.
It's also a bit strange that this all comes about 2 months after Hooky has said his piece AND also handly coincides with him away in America doing his DJ sets!! Maybe they're a bit scared of being paid a visit...? :dead:

Two things come to mind regarding that.....
Firstly, a lot of Hooky's "lower" JD lines are still "up the neck" just on the A and E, he is right about that making things louder, the same energy being confined to a shorted string increases amplitiude. Secondly, when Barney adhered to the "guitar, THEN vocals, THEN guitar" system, NO rocked and Barney could keep it together. Now he's started "comping" (look it up) like a fucking tube station busker and it wrecks his singing AND his playing....twat! Lord save us all from singers with a squidlynoisemaker round their necks.

I've noticed we've exchanged bits now and then analyzing the musicianship, which I enjoy even if we disagree now and then. I'm well aware Hooky was frequently midrange during JD, but there was nothing close to Chosen Time, EGG, the high part on Temptation, PK, etc, sans the verse to SLC (Well, guess the six string made it's debut on H&S, but you get my point).
As far as Bernard goes, here's what I think you mean by comping: He's playing along on occasion to a backing track of his guitar, even with Phil there. Haven't heard it, but I can believe it, as Regret always had a doubled guitar even back in '93 (at least on the live stuff I've heard). If you're referring to studio work, all of them are comping, most of all Hooky, unless Bernard can't even focus vocally when it comes to studio time.
I'm not keen on NO without Hooky. In my opinion, bad play, but Hooky's got a half dozen against him; myspace is a corny was to spread "announcements", fan contact or no contact. I hope this matter gets resolved without getting really stupid, as it's already pretty lame right now.
New Order without Hooky? or no New Order at all?
There's got be only one answer really, to quote Mr Hook himself from his own blog '...life goes on'.
So it won't be the same, so what, the past does not equal the future,
If Steve and Barney did record together, I for one would actually be quite curious as to what they could come up with. I'd rather have New Order without Hooky than any of their side projects.

Surely New Order without Hooky is New Order without Hooky, has New Order been a side project since Gillian left?
The point I am trying to make is if Hooky has left, so what?
We're either left with a New Order without Hooky, or No New Order at all.
If Steve and Barney do something together we can judge it then, if they don't we haven't lost anything.

Fine, don't buy it,
I doubt very much if they would ever record anything without Hooky, and I don't disagree that it would not be the same. Hooky is a very important part of New Order's sound.
What I don't understand is why people are getting so upset by Barney and Steve's statement.
We still have all the albums and memories from 1980 to 2006, you can't take that away, if New Order still exists without Hooky, why does that bother people so much? as I said before the alternative is New Order not existing at all, does it make much difference? probably not... life goes on
I dont think that they will replace Peter with anyone, they'll simply rely solely on synth bass. Isn't that for the most part what Berney did in Electronic?

Right, so New Order minus Hooky is no longer New Order, but Electronic minus Johnny Marr is still Electronic? Don't think so.

They said the same thing when Alan Wilder left Depeche Mode and they've released some quality stuff since then. The Red Hot Chili Peppers lost Slovak they looked finished, especially hiring some then teenage crazy person named John Frusciante. Some bands can survive losing key members, some can't. Let's give them a chance.

I suppose so
New order without Hooky IS a side project...
maybe they should change their name to Electronic Two
Why not???
Hooky will definitely go nuts (as he is right now!) when the remaining two plus Phil continued to use the name New Order. As he (Hooky) stated before, 'they can continue, but not with the name New Order for we had a pact when one of the original member leaves for any reason, they must drop the name, blah blah blah.' I personally want the remaining members to continue using the name New Order, but then, it might just widen the rift with the bass master. So to avoid a bigger conflict, yes, so change the name. I don't mind the remaining members doing a "side-project" using a different name. But please, not the name Electronic Two.![]()
Indeed!

That's pretty much my thoughts on this too mate. Yes Hooky is an integral part of what I and a lot us love about NO and Republic and the '93-'98 hiatus which followed was perhaps not their finest hour but it's a bit premature to judge how good or bad future material and direction of NO may be under Bernard and Steve and with or without Hooky until it happens, if it ever does? Could be good, could be s***e but wait and see and give it a chance!

To save quoting our exchange above...
"comping" is best defined as randomly keeping time by battering the current chord....busker style, and Barney has adopted it, and it makes him look a pleb, bob in and out from the mic, and generally look unhappy and sound cack.

Oh ok, haven't heard that term in the states. Two questions: 1) What was the impetus for this? And 2), Didn't he start to do this back in the mid-80s? For instance, YSF on record has that delicate guitar interplay during the bridge where Hooky plays the melodic lead, but live I've only heard Bernard vamp on C, even going back to Reading '89 or before.
Depeche Mode losing Alan Wilder,RHCP losing Slovak,etc.,etc.,is nowhere near the same fookin' thing. They both had not been going 30 years, had both not achieved legendary/influential/whatever -you-want status, had both not been a part of TWO fookin' great bands,& the said members weren't exactly Hooky in terms of what 'their sound' was,ie.,they were replaceable & have been.Sure you can argue that in ten years time Hooky could've turned out to be that, but after 27 years of being N.O. & having such a massive part in that, you want them to be in their '60's & be a creaking parody before they achieve it??!! I know opinions & all that,it's just that I'm starting to question the credibility of some so-called fans,if that's what they really want to see.I agree with Barney & steve's statement that Hooky doesn't speak for the band by saying it's all over, but in terms of what N.O. are, where does it really leave them? Don't be misguided by just wanting product because you want to cling to something because you love it so much.Sometimes, because of that,it's better to let it go

Me too.
This is gonna run and run, isn't it?
Am I the only one who thinks Hooky has basically behaved like a bit of a cnut in all this? For once in his life he doesn't 'need' New Order cos he's got D-list DJ status and can make a fast buck without relying on the troops to get his sounds aired. So he flees the nest.
Hooky makes a lot of noise, whilst the other two retain a dignified silence.
I think it's good Barney and Steve are standing steadfast and saying they're still gonna carry on as New Order (in whatever capacity that might be).
Just intrigued what Hooky's response is gonna be now.
I have a concrete question:
If Bernard and Steve decide to carry on using the name "New Order", what will happen? Hooky already said that he wouldn't like them to use the name. Does any of them "own" the "new Order" trademark??? Does that mean that we could have a court battle, like Pink Floyd in the 80's??? Man, that would really suck.....

If this is the end, so be it. Nevertheless, I'd like to get a new product, and the most convenient way to get it is through their side-projects. I know it's not the same but it's something that they'll be comfortable enough to work within. At least if it'll be that bad, it won't marr New Order overall legacy.
I just have an impression that Barney doesn't feel like making music anymore at all.

Totally agree. At last Re:Order gig i had to question why us NOOLers are helping fund his DJ escapade, rather than boycotting him and helping push him back into doing his real job. Lets face it, he's not very good at spinning the discs.

True, though Steve appeared terribly awkward in that video interview when Hooky made his remarks on the split.
And they all went to Cannes.... so what? Has Barney quit the group? No. Therefore the problem lies with Hook. Hook is making a nice tidy sum spinning discs - not very well by all accounts (I don't know, I wouldn't dream of going to see a DJ set by any of New Order - I've better music at home!) and all this 'I love to see my fans stuff doesn't wash', 'I love to see my fans pay to see me otherwise I'd do it for nowt' should be nearer the mark.
Other Two things - 1) fuck Depeche Mode - there's nowt to bring to the arguement there, ooooh Alan Wilder we respect his distinctive whatever it is he does on his little metal box don't we 2) Making up silly names based on Electronic or Other Two is stupid. Stop it at once. 3) Never write blogs after you come back from the pub 4) Hook has stated he has no problems with either Barney or Steve. That's four things but Other Four didn't look so good.

:\ohwell:
That's true. If you ask me, Depeche Mode has not done anything good since Alan Wilder departure. He's still not of Hooky's importance though. To me, Hooky is so much more than just a band member. There are bands out there that only one or two members play a big part and the rest play minor parts. William and Jim Reid are The Jesus and Mary Chain, Robert Smith is The Cure, Morrissey and Johnny Marr are The Smiths, Liam and Noel Gallagher are Oasis. I see New Order as one of the most complete and balanced bands out there with everyone putting a share into the group, they're a true team. When people mention New Order , they think of Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook and Stephen Morris. Gillian Gilbert also played a big part of New Order, but the core of the group has always been Barney, Stephen and Hooky. Worse, all three go back to another legendary band that survived a huge lost. Really, he's not just an ordinary band member.
The only reason I think this is good news is that the whole group did not agree to disband. It's a matter of one discontent member. It's also good that Bernard and Stephen did not reveal any plans about the band's future without Peter. They at least have that much respect... for now. After much thought, I think that if Barney and Stephen continues as a group, they have to find another name for themselves. They have to find another Nazi related name to continue the tradition :). Like previously mentioned, I rather see a pairing of Barney and Stephen than another side projects where they go their separate ways. Oh you don't know how much I wish that Freebass fails miserably.

jack, that's right we don't know anything. we just know that Hooky is continuing to talk to the press about a split when in fact he doesn't want to be a part of New Order anymore. so in my opinion it's just fair that Steve and Bernard made that statement with a hint they won't make any further comment. it also leaves doors open for Hooky to come back.
it's of course just my point of view, but Hooky really should think abut whether compiling crap Hacienda CDs, being a novelty celebrity DJ and recording with Freebass (heard only one demo, so it's too early to judge them) is his way for the future. as you can see on this forum, all the fans love your dad for what he is, his playing of course, how great he can be when you accidently see him (as I know for myself), but he recently made some bad decisions that leave some bad taste.

I still say this: how can the Order even continue as the Order without him? If the original statement (that Hooky stands by regarding the name) - "if one of us leaves/dies etc, you cannot continue as New Order" - was implimented, why did they continue as NO when Gillian retired? The paradox in this is intriguing: did they regard Gillian as a helping hand rather than a full member?
Not wishing to see my favourite band rip themselves apart amid acrimony, please please please reconsider. What has become so bad that you cannot work together anymore and that one founder member has become disenfranchised to the point where he calls time on something that has been his life for thirty years?
Steve + Barney but - Hooky will not be New Order. It would be better to end things totally than carry on as a pale shadow without the real driving force/soul of the band. Either that or discuss things calmly with Hooky to resolve your differences. The present option is a shit one, Barney and Steve, and you know it is too.
Chris Nash wrote: It didn't stop him being the vocalist...

As El Jarvo said, this is the first bit of good news I've seen on here in a long while. I found reading Barney and Steve asserting "New Order are still here" to be really uplifting even if Hooky has decided he can't continue with them.
I think the reason some fans may be becoming frustrated in Hooky's direction is because he's been quite vocal at literally every opportunity regarding the band's demise yet refuses to elaborate even slightly on why.
Coming from a Monaco and to a lesser extent Revenge die-hard, Hooky's extra-curricular activies don't seem to be that steller at the moment; we've got that Freebass demo which I thought was extremely average, the er, superstar deejaying and the milking to death of the Hacienda myth. Part of me asks, he left New Order for that? It just seems like a massive own goal that he may regret in a year or two.
Then again he may not, as Jack points out none of us really know what goes on behind closed doors.
Due to recent questions that have arisen over the future of New Order at both the Cannes Film Festival and the Mojo Awards, Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris have today decided to issue a press statement.
Bernard and Stephen - After 30 years in a band together we are very disappointed that Hooky has decided to go to the press and announce unilaterally that New Order have split up. We would have hoped that he could have approached us personally first. He does not speak for all the band, therefore we can only assume he no longer wants to be a part of New Order.
Whatever happens musically or otherwise, New Order have NOT split up, they continue to exist.
New Order will be making no further comment about this matter.

Do me a favour, make another album as good as the 80's stuff or fuck off. Waiting for the sirens call? Im just waiting for the new Radiohead album NOT your next cliffhanger.

They're threatening to play Glasto next year as JOY DIVISION with that sam reilly on vocals?
Hooky whats to design trainers no fucker will wear and play records for a living?
You know Bernard, Peter & Steve i dont think i really give a toss anymore.
The reality is you've all been pissing around since Factory went tits up. I couldn't care less for FreeBass, I wouldn't be arsed about another Electronic album, If Hooky aint on board do you expect me to buy Republic 2?

sadly, i agree with a lot of this. New Order are beginning to be a bad habit i can't break.

Still not entirely sure how Steve "joining" Barney is Electronic when Johnny Marr is nowhere to be seen?

As much as it pains me like fook to admit, the lad has a point.Well,a few actually, with a bit more vitriol than I might have put it,but a good read nonetheless![]()

well...it's half of Electronic, so it's just as easy to see as calling New order New order when it's only half of new order (without Hook and Gilbert....no???)
We're getting silly here now....
time for me to go take a nap...

I do - it's simple!

(Electronic, to me, just sounded like New Order without bass - at least early Electronic was...)
Bloody hell is this still going on? I was thinking today that New Order without Hooky for soem reason reminds me of what BIGINOIL posted the other week about Barney sitting down to piss like a lady .Why is there a connection there?![]()
I think Barney would feel so lost on stage without Hooky he would sit down and piss like a lady .That must be it , yes ![]()
Yes, and you were planning to get some t shirts knocked up saying 'Barney Sits Down And Pisses Like A Lady'.For £40 a throw
I wondered what all these cheques were for.
They've been arriving for days.
Do I...
Seems like I do!
I agree with you. i think hooky acted like a twat just because he is maken money out of being a dj.
i hope new order do some more live shows. im sure we see some older new order songs being played live. ones like sooner then you think face up mr disco
F**k me you are all a bunch of old ladies. You would think you live for the order!! Oh yes i forgot you do. No like the other boy said let them get on with it!! New order with out any one of them would not be the new order we know and love, but we would all go and see them, if for nothing else out of curiosity ![]()
I've said it before. I thought they were toast after '93, and getting this post '98 bonus run to me is just a giant bonus.
Thanks for the memories, it's been classic!!
Dont' really give a shit who did or said what.

Well, according to the missus, Radio 1 played BM yesterday afternoon because the band was no ore as Hooky had left... I think she expected a bit more of a reaction from me, as opposed to me shaking my head and muttering 'Cnuts'... ![]()
