They have so much in common, especially their love to their music. I think, it's o.k, if they would say, we don't make things together besides from music, because we are different persons with different interests. They should have a drink together to talk to another. Now I miss Rob Gretton. Maybe he could arrange such a meeting.

Pizza Express? How bourgeios. In times of crisis I too would "hit the Hut". Fill yer boots with a big deep-pan Hawaian and then see if things seem any clearer. Though is there not a Fatburger in San Francisco? One of them would sort him right out.

"Dont use cannes and mojo to get your own back" seems a little rich for someone who is using myspace to air his dirty linen in public?

Mr Tony Wilson couldn't be more right when he said that "they would be bigger than Pink Floyd". They will follow the same path if this 'see you in court' means anything. Expect the reunion for Live Aid 2027.

I still can't help but think that Hook was giving us all a wink while writing this.

Any publicity is good publicity. Hook is trying to talk more people into going to his dj sessions just cause it’s New Order no more so it’s their only chance to see what’s left of it. Kind of. But now that the boys have clearly stated that they’re ready to continue with or without him, he suggests court. Clever indeed.

Get a grip, Hook!

My thoughts exactly.

50 year old children.

How very disappointing to see your heroes behave like this.

Neworder and their music are one of the touch-stones in my life and it saddens me beyond words to see this nonsense unfolding.

I think people should be mindful of AHW's current predicament and get a fucking grip.

I'm off to Youtube to watch the TPK video...

Is Hooky being a bit of a pleb? yup. Do I find it difficult to believe that Barney could drive a saint to genocide? Nope.

My thoughts exactly.

What is this, a new episode of 90210? Talk about melodrama. Using the press/myspace to fling dirt at each other should be beyond thier age.

Fuck the tosspost that used to play bass with N.O.

if he hates barney & steve so much does this mean he will no longer play Joy Division CDs in the embarrasing stage act that he does?

Bury your heroes, for they are dead.

i think this is incredibly sad. the one thing i loved and respected about new order was how private they are. it seems hooky's new discovery of myspace is plain sad.

Oh hell... bloody fucking hell... :nonono:

My god if i was to list my disappointments with this group id miss my plane to frisco.

...then list them while you're ON your plane to Frisco, you tw*t. :brow: Duh.

never assume anything! This group has SPLIT UP! you are no more new order than i am! you may have two thirds but dont assume you have the rights to do anything NEW ordery cos you dont ive still got a third! But am open to negotiation.

...with what you have just blasted out, I wouldn't be surprised if the negotiation occurs in court!! :ignore:

Just in case you hadnt noticed weve not had a "PERSONAL" relationship for a long time now...years in fact! whenever you contact me its through the management(like hale and pace eh?) i did exactly the same you all knew what was happening re the split! in FEBRUARY!

Gee fucking whiz... *facepalm* Hooky, Hooky, Hooky...

i have never spoken on your behalf i wouldnt presume to. i spoke for myself WE HAVE SPLIT!

...then why'd you... *shut the fuck up, sunshine*

so as one third of ex new order im off to gate 36 and pizza hut.

Damnit, Hooky!! :\pissedoff: For once I now have a reason to STOP eating at Pizza Hut!!

Two weeks of damn-near chaos, and now THIS!? :banghead: You're lucky this is as pissed off as I'm gonna get!!

I guess I can only close with the following: If [and WHEN] this gets to court, it's gonna get very ugly--very quickly...

:nonono:

I'll tell you what's confusing me...

Hooky is saying he has left the band but his myspace page still says this underneath the New Order band members section

Peter Hook (1980 - )

Pizzaland WAS great - they did a meal where you could have half a pizza, a jacket potato and salad; no one does that anymore. A whole pizza is an impossible journey. Only thing I would knock them for is the Coke Float...............:spit: (oh and the dried parmesan in shakers)

As for everything else, NO cant really be NO without Hooky; but this legal 'innuendo' is ridiculous. Still, I daresay they won't have to apply for legal aid; and like most things where lawyers are concerned, it will end up bitter, twisted and generally unpleasant. (oh and a re-release of another greatest hits album no doubt).......:shades:

It's funny now that Hooky is now the "bad guy" for at least making some effort to informally communicate (if rather sloppily). You would rather a press conference? Or Bernard's silence and total lack of communication and what communication you get is that Bernard hates playing live, hates interviews, hates writing lyrics, and considers the 80s New Order inferior to his later work including Electronic.

You are right, choosing your pizza is more important now... it is 2007.

I really rather have silence than reading MySpace blogs. This sucks big time. New Order was a mystery to me and I liked that. Every New Order interview was like a gem, something rare, something to get excited about. This blog thing is making me sad and furious at the same time, not a good feeling at all. I don't know who's right or wrong, but I honestly rather be clueless about the situation until the whole gang decides tell us something. Gosh I miss Rob Gretton, this public outrage would never have happened if he was still among us.
