Did you play Maconies spot the odd one out Fac number game Colin? Which one was it?

The boat on the canal, I think.

The dental work, case against Hannett, the cat and the bucket on Styal Mill's water wheel all sound right to me.

What was the other one

If loving you is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

They used to sing that one to the cat

i thought it may have been the bucket on Styall's Mill.Didn't knwo that one but you're probably right , the boat on the canal.

The other on he listed was Fac 61 i think (or was it Fac 98?)- a court case against an errant producer

Nope, there was definitely a dental work attributed a Fac number

I wasn't sure about the hairdresser and I don't recall I Factory endorsed one. But here we go ...

Shorely the errant producer was Hannett.

Didn't know the about Hac hairdressers.

Suspected it might have been the one in Afflecks, cos it was opposite the FAC shop. But that would've been nonsense.

I've seen the Styal Mill bucket.

Never mentioned FAC383. I'm gonna email to make sure he does :shades:

Someone said Fac 51 :D

There was a hairdresser's - Fac98

I thought he said coracle. That's a kind of boat, isn't it?

Someone must be near a computer to Google it?

I sent this:

Stu,

I got your quiz right, but the hairdressers was a guess.

Wilson gave us a FAC number (FAC383) last year. We bullied him into it by sending a big lad round with a bit of paper for him to sign.

Looks great on the badges.

We are the Vikings - followers of New Order.

Well, we were.

Say hi to Steve and goodbye to Tone from us all.

Cheers, Col

I was lying on the floor listening to the Magic Numbers when I got Al's text to say that AHW had died.

Quite a moment.

It's probably been said on here before: Transmission is an amazing tune. Proper timeless.

What was Steve on about church organs for? I missed it 'cos my Mum started talking to me.

He said he buys from the guy who was in the previous song? as he apparently converts them into digital ones.

summat like that

Some sort of van der Graaf Generator connection, I think.

Transmission just never gets dull. As soon as I hear that machine drone, I get a shiver.

It's a song I try not to listen to too often, so I don't ruin it.

The start is the best bit, then it gets better.

"Quite late on and a lot of rubbish was being talked" in Strawberry.

Lovely euphemism for being fcuked.

That was their chance to read my email though
