This is a first try with trackerless torrents, so let me know if it works, I will update the list to put a few more interesting things.

Keep seeding once done if you want this to work well.

First seed will be the Community 2 DVD as promised to a few people, this is the PAL version, the NTSC version will follow.

If it works, I'll publish a few more soon, so check this thread for updates.

Your client must support the DHT technology in order for this to work. I highly recommand µTorrent.

file is invalid as determined by Opera's internal torrent handler and azureus.

not the spaced either (though you SHOULD avoid them, they are illegal characters....even in windows (remember the filename you see is not the real filename in windows, everything is still in the format aaaaaaaa.bbb there).

Definitely not showing any seeders for this Nick.

signed, one still using uTorrent 1.6, uncertain about using 1.7.2, but as someone said in Casino...."Why take a chance?"

EDIT AT 12:43 PST....finally showing a seeder now, going slowly though.

2 people downloading... and 2 US guys, showing they didn't read when I said I would post the NTSC version later ;)

If this doesn't work, apparently µTorrent is able to be used as a tracker, I might do just that.

doesn't matter to me if it's PAL, Nick, I can handle that format (just got done watching the So It Goes/What's On compilation).

Didnt' get very far on the PAL torrent, doing better with the NTSC one at this point.

its best to turn on super-seed (initial-seeding on utorrent) on these torrents since the speed is pretty slow

My cable connection is 10 Mbps in download, but it sucks big time in upload, and since it's not the only thing I do, it will indeed be slow until the first person get it....

I just enabled super seeding, I don't know if it will have an impact.

Be patient.

Don't hesistate to update your .torrent files, I have just changed the tracker's settings, so it might help.

Superseeding will cut down on the leech factor (it wont send me a packet it already sent to Biggie, so we have to trade them between us...for example) early on, once a few people have the complete torrent it's not really important.

Running fine now BTW, though I was only testing as I have the DVD.

I get this for Tracker Status:

"Error: Tracker Return Code: 404, Stop! in Tracker: http://bittorrent.neworderonline.com/announce"

And doesn't seem to be connecting at all.

But merci en avance to let us download this! Can't wait to watch it.

:scratch: You should have one with your C2 CD... If you didn't, it's mistake. Too bad I didn't know, I would have sent you one with the gift.

Although, it's a DVD-R, so beside the fact that you will pay for the prive of a blank DVD, it's the exact same.

Download it again, seems the tracker needed the full path in order to work.

Clear your cache and download the .torrent file once again, it will load the new tracker.

Nick - if that Buenos Aires gig is MP3 you should advertise that, as the accepted torrent standard is for non-MP3 sourced recordings.

Enjoy it while you can, I just learned today that my internet service provider decided to put quotas and they don't offer any illimited packages.

So this means, I'll close the computer on October 1st and downgrade to a worst connection type as this is getting useless.

This is a bad day for me, very bad!
