Jeez - just heard the album for the first time.
Genuinely, some of these tracks could be the songs that didn't make onto WFTSC - it's THAT much of a tribute.
Still, I've always liked the Charlatans - and this could well be the best thing they've ever done.
This was one of the tracks on 6music's roundtable last week (Timmy Booth & someother geezer on it) consensus was that Hooky ought to contact his lawyers
It's a total NO rip-off but a great album all the same. Saves waiting another 6 years for New Order to reform.
I downloaded it for free from the xfm webiste. Someone on there stated "it is the best New Order album since Technique"!
