Just got back from European premiere, which opened the Sheffield Documentary Festival. Amazing, lots of stuff I've not seen or heard before and interesting to see what Annik looks like.

There was a brief Q&A before the public premiere (the delegates got a longer Q&A)which was attended by Hooky, the director, the producers & Jon Savage that I videoed on my phone and will upload somewhere once I've sobered up and slept!

The first question was asked by Steve Singleton of ABC(!), I asked the second but like a muppet, panicked, hide my phone & didn't record it once the mic was shoved in my face!

Anyway, see it when you can..

Cheers for checking in. Just been to JD Central as well - the doc includes footage from Plan K and the Granada Reports performance of SLC. Add the Factory Flick to this and it's defo the release I'm looking forward to the most.

Audience member (in the Q&A): "Can my brother and me shake your hand, Hooky?"

Hooky: "No, fuck off!"

Audience member: "You've gone down in my estimation now"

Hooky: "So have you!"

All whilst laughing of course. Legend!

Yeah it was superb. I went with a mate who didn't know much about them and he seemed well impressed too!

The first clip finishes at the point where I asked a question about Ian's suicide note and whether the line "Give my love to Annik" was real or whether Matt Greenhalgh had made that up and what Hooky thought about Ian writing that when he knew Debbie would read it.

He replied that yes, Ian did write that in his first suicide note but he didn't comment on the latter.

The second clip follows on a while after that.

The video isn't brilliant quality but the sound is quite good.
