Bloody ell they've come up a bit big , the mag was pocket size .JACK was that former Loaded geezer James Brown's attempt at a new take on 'Lad' culture mags.I thought it wasn't a bad read but it went under very quickly.The pocket size idea was maybe a tad GAY though!

I just got a vintage clone theory, and it sounds great, thing to remember is if you buy it from the states you'll need to convert the voltage from our 240 down to 110, shouldn't be too much of a problem, mine was already sorted, sounds great too.

There is a re:issue of the clone theory,it's a lot smaller than the original. The vintage Clone sounds a lot better than the re:issue, but it's close.

Might be Jack bidding on his behalf-or buying it for himself to piss the old bugger off(LOL):D

The reissue doesn't have the chorus/vibrato blend knob or the switch ("edge" on the older CTs, flange on the later ones). I don't know if either of those is needed for that Hooky sound (edge seems to help), but it makes the original more flexible. OTOH, the reissue is true bypass, I believe, as well as smaller. Still noisy and AC only, though.

Edit: new one will take batteries, actually. May have to try one as a backup...
