I love all versions, but my favourite is the Substance version.

...But getting back to business.

I have to say their performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1993 was superb, and probably their most professional.

I heard Temptation being played over the closing credits of a rather dull BBC2 programme last night called "This World". The credits then revealed that the programme's narrator was called Ian Curtis!

I'm also a fan of the 'Substance' version, but really I like them all. You can tell where the band 'was' at the time each one was recorded.
