I saw the documentary 2 months ago at Lincoln Center (NYC). Afterwards there was Q & A with the director and producer. Evidently Deborah was due to come for an interview for the documentary, but was a no-show, presumably due to the emotional toll from her involvement with "Control".

Watched the doc again with a new ladyfriend yesterday, she pointed this out as well. I had never really given it too much thought, mainly cos there were several quotes grabbed from Touching From A Distance. This is probably the only thing lacking from the documentary. She also thought Hooky was the star of the documentary, my new main highlight is when they are all talking about the antics of them and the Buzzcocks on tour when it's all mixed together, was in tears of laughter yesterday

Apparently, a week earlier (June 10th), according to Pitchfork...
went to see it last night at the duke of yorkes cinema in brighton,, must say it sent a shiver down me spine when they showed the manchester appolo footage from that gig in 79 as that was the only time i saw them live, made me realise how far weve all come,,,,or not,
the unseen clip of shes lost control was ace ,, if its out on dvd then surely the full song must be released,, dissapointed with the lack of live footage given whats around though what was chosen was superb and the way the eternal was stripped down to only keyboards during an interview was very,very moving,,, didt have the desire to rush and see it again like i did with control. though i came out of the cinema realising that still after 29 years of first seeing em i have still seen the greatest group to walk the earth .and whats with control and joy division both ending with atmospher, spooky...
