Technique Remastered: What would you want on the bonus disc?

This is an idea to start speculating on what you would want on an eventual Technique Remastered BONUS CD.

IN NO WAY THIS MEAN THIS PROJECT EXISTS, it's just for fun, and so we can eventually send the list to the labels so they would consider it, maybe.

But just maybe.

So, TECHNIQUE 1989... what the hell would you want on a BONUS CD? rare tracks? live gig... what?

It would have to be a DVD of the best of the onstage loonery that accompanied this release. Full-bore Joe Bloggs rave gear, E gurning band and audience, dad-dancing to die for and confused TV presenters.

Good-quality footage appears of all of this prankery; it was mixed in to a lot of the promos from the singles so let's see the full beautiful horror of it all!

And the Run remixes

Anything but MTO probably.

I'd want some pictures of live show setups from this era, as they aren't as common.

I'm pretty sure the masters for those no longer exist post John Denver.

Skipped Brotherhood, didn't you?

Anyway, b-sides from that era will do, and the Making Out mix of Vanishing Point. Would be lovely to hear what Gillian's original demo of Dream Attack was like as well.

Actually I didn't.... Brotherhood has been done, and I'm pretty sure I did Substance... I'd need to dig them up.

The demos aren't out and about, you mean those unfinished studio rehearsals. There are a whole completed set of uncirculated demos for Technique:

Plus an unreleased version of 'Don't Do It':

And some work in progress versions of 'Vanishing Point':

Not to mention the 'other' version of 'Vanishing Point' with totally different lyrics and vocals (lyrics available on this site somewhere).

Either Birmingham NEC or Glasgow SECC concerts as I think these are great.

This was the album that got me into New Order, I still love this album after all these years. So I'd love to hear anything from this era that I haven't already.

all of the b-sides, some selected remixes, and a few choice live cuts from the '89 tour would be welcome.
