Sorry, neither Italian or Jewish. I am a Catholic Northern European blend...Irish, English, German & Swiss. I don't have much of a New York accent unless you put me in a room of other New Yorkers and then it gets pretty bad. :)
You know, I don't care if the lyrics do make sense--there should be a law against anyone ever rhyming those two words in a song again! THe list of offenders is long enough already (Bowie, TOm Tom club--can't think of who else right now but definitely too many)
