I remember prior to the release of Get Ready NO said they had recorded 17 or so tracks, of which ten will be on the album, and the rest would be b-sides etc. With the 10 tracks on GR, plus Brutal, Behind closed doors, Sabotage, Here to Stay, Player in the league and Such a good thing, this leaves one track that has yet to see the light of day (unless my math is totally shite).
Anyone else remember the 17 tracks comment? What are the chances of this extra track (if it exists) being an addition to ReCycle in order to make it indispensible?

Extra track

What's set to make ReCycle indespensible will be the addition of a brand new single or two rather than the 17th-rated track from the GR sessions I'd imagine, oh Randiest of Bears. Perhaps it'll make an appearance on the out-takes and demos disc if there is such a thing.
Refreshing to see your prominent Ursidae ass on these forums again, btw.

Given we've established you are a fan of the Arse, DepthBarge, I will thank you not to mention my gluteus again, Ursus-like or otherwise.
You might be pushing it to expect a new single or two on ReCycle if we are to believe it's less than 6 months away, but we can dream, eh? Would it be too cynical to suggest the inclusion of a bonus disc of "Crystal - the August 2002 remixes" as the indispensible item here?

I seem to remember reading in the Australian press that NO had done two tracks with Arthur Baker. This would seem to be the missing track!

Not only am I a huge Arse follower, but I was also quite a big fan of Seaman until events of the last few days.
As for your cynical suggestion Randy, in the event of no new material I was rather hoping we'd be treated to a whole Bonus CD (only available in the limited edition chrome box signed by Phil Cunningham) featuring 8 different 4/4 US house remixes of In a Lonely Place. Plus for the first 20,000 sold, a genuine chard of yellow brick from the original Hacienda. With certificate of authentication. Magic! And what a collector's item.

If anyone fancies a brick or to from the Hac , just mail me (though YOU have to pay the postage !!)

Yes! Where can I get that?

I didn't say it was - I said the quote was "we have recorded 17 new songs", not "we have recorded 17 songs in one session". I realise they were recorded at different times and places.

I've also been looking for the Housecat mix of We All Stand and the Perfecto mix of Leave Me Alone. Do you have those?

Yes, I understand it may have been on some extremely limited edition versions of the World CD single.
If it was, it would be most apt for the England goal keeper who dropped a large clanger for us which arguably knocked us out of the competition. Don't know whether a drum 'n bass version would replicate the feeling of the nation when the ball went in the net though.
Can't Rocket Ship craft his own mixes and knock them out on CD?

Well, last Friday 32 million people were watching the TV at 7.30am instead of motoring to work / school etc. - but I can't be certain this wasn't down to an arbitrary repeat of 'Saved by the Bell'.
