Got it today from Circuit City for 14.99 + tax. Like some people here I bought it purely for the bonus disc.

early footage was slightly disappointed. considering, the technology was not as good as it is today. still, great footage. THANK YOU 
the concert was amazing 
much like the concert done at Henry J Kaiser Convention Center, only better though because i was in the very front row, literally front row!

I have to give HMV props - they were open way later then I thought they would be, they had it in stock and it was only $16.99. I was expecting it to be around $30.00

The bonus disc was fun. Driving to Glasto in a Cortina!! Rock star treatment there. Just some golden goodies.
The actual show was fine. However I still think the Finsbury Park gig captured on "511" was far superior. New Order was in top form that day. Makes me wish I was there for that gig. In spite of the monsoon weather.

I'm of the opposite opinion. I think that "511" was really crappy and I thought that was it for New Order; the new New Order was horrendous live, especially with the female backing vocal. Thanks to Hooky who also thought that 511 was awful, he and Steve gave us this new live DVD and I am pleasantly surprised by the very good performances in Glasgow. The only thing I didn't like was the usual 'COME ON' by Barney on "Love Will Tear Us Apart". Other than that, Barney did a very good job that night.
I personally thought 5 11 was a total mess to be honest and rarely watch it these days let alone listen to it. I found the Glasgow DVD to be a massive improvement in terms of song selection, camera angles, sound quality etc. In particular, Barney's vocal performance on Glasgow is excellent compared to 5 11; he was wobbling all over the place on that day in '02.
I think that perhaps the biggest disappointment of 5 11 was that the 2.0 soundtrack was - for want of a better word - fucked. They didn't master it correctly and so it was distorted to buggery; the 5.1 option wasn't much better either. By contrast, the sound and picture quality on Glasgow is perfect so they finally got it right (just in time for the band's demise).
At the end of the day would I rather have some cracking live versions of Turn, Who's Joe? and Guilt over Close Range, Brutal and 60 MPH?!
Easy win for Glasgow there and better songs to boot 
5 11 is a better DVD for me. Although i did watch it in the fcuked and distorted 2.0 the first couple of times before i played about with it and selected the other settings.Although one of them i can't remember which i could never get any sound with, probably the fault of my old Phillips DVD player i had then.True there is some duff performances of a few songs but overall it beats the Glasgow one for me in terms of the mood and playfulness of the band.Barney's guitar work on Crystal for example is superb - much better than the mostly dull strumming in Glasgow.
i've only seen 511 once, and thank fuck i didn't buy it. that gig and dvd is a giant pile of poo.

Seriously, could they have done a worse job then the U.S. cover? At least Rhino seemed to have smartened up. No more abortions like their '316' hack job.
The Glasgow DVD is genius regardless of region. And to me covers dont matter, for I netflixed Glasgow, Control, and Joy Division. Waiting one my stimulus to purchase all 3, bless capitalism.

This DVD is a real treat, and reasonably priced as well. The Glastonbury footage in particular is glorious, and having a whole bonus disc of wonderfully chaotic 80s vintage New Order has chuffed me to bits!
so, i love the Glasgow dvd, mainly just for the 2nd one (haven't even watched the 1st one tho i've had it for a week) ...
BUT, what is up with them putting a lipsync version of 1963 from the 1989 Shoreline gig?
sumner is just singing along to a total backing track. really cheesy and a waste of the dvd space.
the other 80s stuff is awesome, however!

I got my Live in Glasgow DVD last night which I thought was fantastic, especially the little interview bits and the sustained camera angles for the live portion. The performances were very good I might add. Not too many woops and whistles, and no screaming. :P
The bonus disc has a lot of footage which I will have to fully take in hopefully one Sunday afternoon.
Tidbits of note:
The Confederate flag controversy subdued- Barney's SG guitar sticker has the text "Kiss My Rebel Ass" clearly read at 01:18:14. Probably obtained for the actual text vs. the subtext.
I noticed a few shots of Phil's pointed shoes on stage for no apparent reason. Was this an in-joke to cut to his shoes at certain points I wonder? They did kind of stand out amidst the sneakers on stage. Shoe gazer camera man?
It might be fun to be at the show, but isn't it kinda silly for them to perform classic dark songs like "She's Lost Control" like they are cliched rocking anthems in 2006? "Wooo! She's lost control AGAIN YEAH!... She's Lost Control! WOOHOO!"... you go girl, lose control all you like honey. Or "Love Will Tear Us Apart, YEAH! Woooooo!" ... there is no tension in these performances, they perform them just like a cover band at a mainstream bar.
I know they are celebrating their past, which deserves celebrating, but maybe this was a good point to pull the plug on the band. Where would they gone from here?

They wrote all these songs that changed the face of modern music, they can perform them however they fucking want to. And you should be grateful that you can see them.
By thier own admission, New Order are a hit or miss live bands. They aren't interested in creating "tension" (ie...fake displaced anger, arrogance, or displacement as showed by so many young bands these days). They are interesting in crafting superb songs.
The performances of Shadowplay, These Days, and Transmission on this DVD were fine.
LWTUA is performed as a celebratory sing along to celebrate Ian's memory. I think its damn fine that they play it like a pub song. I was filled with joy and shouting along when I heard them play it in 2005 in Chicago. I was just happy to see them playing.
To expect a band to perform as they did 20 years ago is absurd and ridiculous. Do you still expect them to be angry young men? Are they not allowed to grow and mature as the rest of us are?
The performance on the Glasgow disc is superb. New Order do excellent renditions of Whose Joe, Kratfy, Crystal, Your Silent Face, True Faith, BTL, and the performances of The Perfect Kiss and Blue Monday are magical. The band are on top form and even Barney is singing seriously and in key (most of the time).
I mean...they are 50....what do you want from them?
No one pulled the plug on New Order. Peter Hook quit. If they were still going, they'd probably have put out a pretty good album. Not an earth changing album, but a good album full of good New Order tunes. And maybe some gigs where we can all aget silly and sing along and celebrate the music we love.
At this point, they don't owe us anything more. They have already changed modern music TWICE.
