Hello NOFANS & Hooligans.

I would like some information from you guys as to where best to list my record collection online for sale? Ebay seems like it's a hit and miss game (not too many crew understand the NO ideals). So, please advise me.

Many thanks

Well...

One of them wouldn't be selling your collection.

Got any rare gear in there, Trojan?

Buy/Sell/Trade would be a good starting point - at least you would know that items probably went to a good home.

Check the Record Collector site for a price guideline and how to describe the condition of the items. Knock a couple of quid off what Record Collector say they're worth, then put any remaining items on Ebay or Amazon.

I wouldn't recommend trying to sell at a used record shop, simply because you'll get very little for them - they need to make a large mark up on items. For instance, you might be given 40p for a good condition 7" single, which they'll then price at a minimum of £3.

If you put together a list of what you've got, then post it on here in Buy/Sell/Trade at least people will get the chance to give you feedback as to what they think items would be worth and you'll get an idea of the level of interest.

Yeah, I know the deal you guys!! Jebus! Ive had the records for 15 years, I dont have a record player, and I now have a 10 month old boy that is a destroyer of all things precious. The records have served their purpose for me. They made my time in Brisbane (1995 and on) bloody great. But, its time to go. I have listed them on ebay since posting, I put starting prices where I think they should be. You can check em out. There is some really good stuff there and all the records themselves are completely untouched.

Thanks to those who were positive. The rest of you scallywags, well, how can I get mad at you? Laters.
