Why are so many people on the New Order Message Board bitter and snide?

It's just curious to me. Some people on here are cool, but a lot of posters are just straight up pessimistic penises. Is it a Euro thing? Is it a gay thing? What's the deal with people like Uncle Liam? I'm just curious to know thats all...by the way, look out for more posts from me in the future wankers!

if you look back at your previous posts you'll notice that a lot of them look like they have been designed to annoy new order fans, saying things like new order are not good, on a new order forum, isn't going to get you a many friends, then backing it up with posts like this is only going to antagonise people.

so while some people may now immediately treat you with contempt, on reflection, you only have yourself to blame.

This is not meant to be bitter or snide, just informative.

There are a lot of good people on the board, but sadly, you've just gotta roll with the tossers...

The NOOLers you meet in person are far more friendlier once you've met them, although (also sadly) opportunities to do that en masse are dwinding.

Also remember that the NOOL board standards are just meaningless tokenism...

The Americans here seem a bit more loser, bitchy, and faggy than the Brits. Maybe the Brits are more cunty. Maybe stupid statements get stupid replies, get over it.

Here is a guy, who, at last, finally understands!

New Order's public image for years was somewhat aloof and distant and for some of their audience this is true aswell. Also as the significant majority of the fans are from the NW of England it is customary to playfully insult other people. Something which Americans dont always 'get'.

It's the combination of fan superiority ("I was a New Order fan when you were in diapers!" "Well I was a New Order fan when Barney was still in the womb!") and the internet allowing people to be somewhat anonymous.

I've certainly been pissed off by pointed replies from a couple of forum regulars. It happens.

You're absolutely right, I've noticed that too. New Order fans simply act like New Order. I frequent other forums and I can see a correlation with artist and its fans. If you go to a Jonas Brothers forum (no visit here, I'm just using it as an example), I bet you'll mainly have teenage girls gushing all over. I often go to the official Depeche Mode forum and frankly, the fans there are sometime not too different from teenybopper fans.

No it doesn't help....First off you asshole, that is your perception if you think my old posts about whether Brotherhood or Technique are better albums are designed to annoy new order fans....And for the record, I NEVER SAID NEW ORDER WERE NOT GOOD, as you say!
