WESTWOOD ONE RADIO NETWORKS

IN CONCERT...SHOW 94-08 for broadcast the week of FEB 14,1994. I purchased this CD of NEW ORDER pre the time i had an internet access.It was very expensive at the time..aprox £50.Containing the live songs starting with RUINED IN A DAY ,REGRET and ROUND and ROUND ,this then goes into a commercial break.On the cue sheet you get with this item the commercials are ALL listed including times.These days with internet radio and CD burners it is easy do make up such compilations but then not so! Although this came in a sleeve from the RADIO STATION i do NOT regard this as one of my favourite collection pieces but rather a SPACE ODDITY. Has anyone got similar weird and strange artifacts in their collection? Cheers ROCKET MICK

This is actually a pretty good piece Mick and I have exactly the same one - wax coated Westwood One paper sleeve and cue sheet - including an ad for Trojan condoms if I'm not mistaken. Not too bad price wise either - I'd reckon £90 these days or around £160 with the "Blind Melon" show that should come with it - it was a two disc set that ended up being split by most dealers to maximise profit.

Indeed it has those GREAT adverts but WAX sleeve ,no mine only has A WHITE AND BLUE COVER.The cue sheet is there but i hope this is not a fake JOHAN.:D Thanks for replying cos i love to know the TRUTH and if anyone KNOWS it is YOU. Respect ROCKET MICK

...and then there were three. I have this piece too, but mine just came in a plastic sleeve. I always preferred the mix of the Reading '93 show on the KTS bootleg Electronic Ecstasy to the mix on this Westwood One cd. As far as I can tell, the only nice thing about this cd is that it has BLT on it, which was left off of Electronic Ecstasy.

Tracey it is good to hear your comments,i have never really noticed the BLT difference having owned the classic ELECTRONIC ECSTASY with brilliant cover.I just had to try and collect the strange and different artifacts out of curiosity. REGARDS ROCKET MICK
