Well I've flogged my other Low-Life and from Ally's link got the fixed version. (Ta mate!)
Then when in HMV last Saturday they had one Technique CD left so took a punt and fortunately got a V02 version of both discs.
It looks like Amazon are selling the corrected versions so may order Brotherhood from there.
Ok I just got to ripping the whole collection and did some listens, so I can confirm:
Movement: Matrix no. on current disc 1: 256469369-4/1 V01 DAY(same as 1st edition? possibly a version with drop-out in "The Him" still remaining? unconfirmed)
PCL: Matrix no. on corrected disc 2: 256469369-8/2.3 V02 MVP'on my replacement copy from Rhino, there is a new glitch/click audible at 1:41 in "The Beach."' (unconfirmed whether this refers to matrix 2.2 or 2.3)
Also confirming that Sunrise is fixed as previously mentioned.
Just received Movement, here are my disc matrices:
CD1: 256469369-4/1 V01 DAY CD2: 256469369-4/2.2 V02 LHB
That completes my re-masters collection!
Due to my inability to resist re-buying stuff, I now have both the original (with corrected disc 2 from Dr Rhino) and re-issued Collector's edition of Low Life. My comparison:
Digipak:
The original remaster front cover has the word 'new' in black, on top of the word 'order' in silver. This is the same as the Factory vinyl 'tracing paper' sleeve.
The re-issued version has the word 'order' in silver on top of the word 'new' in black - the silver text is slightly transparent. This is the same as the Factory CD 'tracing paper' sleeve.
The publishing date on the spine of the digipak sleeve still incorrectly states '1983', rather than '1985'
Disc matrices:
Original remaster: Disc 1: 256469370-0/1 V01 XTC Disc 2: 256469370-0/2.2 V02 YIP Corrected disc 2: 3 R2 516184-2.2 RE-1 01
Re-issued remaster: Disc 1: 256469370-0/1.2 V02 OSF ('Sunrise' drop-out repaired) Disc 2: 256469370-0/2.3 V02 IPZ
The version of Salvation Theme on the new Disc 2 has different synth lines and stereo panning to the version on my Japanese CD of the Salvation soundtrack. Sounds like they have attempted to tart up the ropey 'Let's Go' version too...

It's a small point but those who bought the Brotherhood remaster may have spotted the glaring omission of the original 5:54 version of True Faith from the bonus disc whereas 1963, the 10 minute Pettibone remix and Evil Dust are all present. A massive oversight because as I'm sure many would agree the 5:54 is the definitive version.
Fast forward to this year and even "Total" only got the 7" version clocking in at 4:12.
However I discovered the remastered True Faith 5:54 was in fact sneaked out on Rhino's Factory Records: Communications 1978-92 (Disc 3) back in 2009. I just found my boxset the other day for the first time since I bought it and was reminded of what it contains.
Basically every other New Order track on there (7 others) sound as remastered as the fixed bonus discs so yeah, thankfully a remastered 5:54 is out there.
Sounds pretty nice as well, definitely an improvement... brighter etc.
So i ordered Low Life, Brotherhood & Technique from Amazon recently and while the first 2 are the fixed versions, Technique came in a a slipcase so i havn't opened it yet. Should I assume that i got a faulty version of technique and send it back or has anyone got the fixed version of it WITH a slipcase. thanks

It's almost certainly the dodgy one, but do open it and check.
Amazon won't care that it's been opened, especially if you state the reason when returning it.
Hi folks, I'm new on here. Just wondering if Amazon is the only reliable place to buy the remastered CDs, where there is a good chance of receiving the fixed versions? Technique is the main one I want as I only have it on vinyl.

Those asking if "x" seller is selling the corrected remasters should read the previous 5-6 pages (at least) of this thread - the information is there.
The reality is nobody here can guarantee with absolute certainty wherever you buy a remaster that you'll receive a corrected one. For the most part these days it looks like you have roughly a 1 in 5 chance of receiving a faulty one from a "reputable" seller such as Amazon UK; not bad odds and they only cost about 6-7 quid a piece. Circulation of the faulty ones seems to be diminishing but there are probably a few still out there.
Buy one, listen to the bonus disc, if necessary compare the disc matrices listed here and if it's a faulty one simply send it back and ask for a refund :)

Music buyers these days eh? If two discs of superb music per remaster isn't worth 9 quid then I don't know what is.
As I said if they're faulty send em back. Amazon's return policy is pretty liberal.
I final opened the Technique I got from Amazon and instead of the fixed bonus disc, it had the repaired version of Power, Corruption & Lies instead!! Wasn't expecting that! Back It goes.
