Just spotted this on a discography - does anyone know what was on this unreleased/aborted video, and when was it supposed to be shot/released????

The title 'Here Are The Old Men' was originally a tongue-in-cheek suggestion by Tony 'twat' Wilson (only quoting the 24hrPP promo stuff!).

The idea was to perhaps re-release 'Here Are The Young Men' at the same time as a New Order live compilation. Shelved, of course...

Just goes to show how ethics & stuff have changed - on the original Ikon release of 'HATYM' the sleeve notes actually confirm that you're welcome to copy the video as much as you like, on a not-for-profit basis.

The old 'Crass' ethic, I suppose - I've still got an old (NME?) interview with Hooky where he admits to being a Crass fan. (Not sure - don't think it was a wind-up...)
