Primal Scream, McAlmont & Butler and Queens Of The Stone Age. Well, I wouldn't say I'm looking forward to the first two but I'll give them a go. I heard a track from the new QOTSA album and liked it even though it was nowhere near as heavy as "Feel Good Hit Of The Summer" (but then I don't think it's possible to get much heavier than that). I'll also give the Underworld album a listen.

Is that eclectic enough?

If The Faint comes out with a new album, that would be so cool! Looking forward to a new New Order album of course! ;)

new order is a given. primal scream should be good. dunno, haven't been very up to date to new releases, i spend too much time digging up classics i've missed.

Primal Scream's "Evil Heat"! The new single is brilliant, and the duet with Kate Moss sounds also very promising!

I've got it via download from Kazaa. It's very good. Also downloaded Wavy Gravy not as impressed, still a nice track but nothing mind blowing. Muzik gave 100 days off a storming write up and Airdrawndagger a luke warm one.

I still have not heard the Underworld single but i did get Wavy Gravy....not special but a decent tune...a little one way street, not enough progression or change in it to be a really good song....

I can't wait to see Underworld when they tour the US later this year. BTW, does anyone have a live show from 94 or 95 that includes Spoonman and Skyscraper?

I like the new single a lot, haven't heard anything else yet...will this be your first Underworld concert? If so, you're in for a treat  Is anyone going to one of the concerts Kraftwerk is doing in September? They are playing in Paris, Gent (Belgium) and Luxemburg (?)...Not sure if any tickets are still available.

Sorry to backtrack but I've just downloaded the dub mix of Miss Lucifer and I haven't managed to play it because I haven't got version 7 of Windows Media Player or any other player that includes the digital rights management module (or whatever it's called) required to play it. So it may not be worth downloading it unless you've got an up-to-date player or are thinking about updating your software.

Bizarre Fact

Underworld live in Fremantle 1988 was the first gig I ever attended, albeit in their somewhat forgettable Mk1 guise.

Have caught them 4 times since and have never been let down.

Which issue of Muzik is 100DO previewed in, Wiseass?

I haven't been assed to download KaZaa yet, is Two Months off a radical departure from the Beaucoup-era stuff? Can't wait to hear it.

Airdrawndagger: is this the title to Sasha's LP?

you'll be very pleased with Melody AM by Royksopp....one of the best electronic albums of the last few years...did you get the Kings of Convenience remix album Versus? or Four Tet - Pause? If not, add those to your list and make it quick.

Coldplay - A Rush Of Blood To The Head The Coral's new LP which is out tomorrow.

And the Primal's also. When is this out? Saw them at Shepherds Bush Empire a few weeks back, they kicked ass. Jim Reid on stage at the end for a partial JAMC reunion.

I see rumours of your demise have been greatly exaggerated, Pillar? Although it's hard to tell by the photo.

Heard a few more Underworld tracks from Win MX, slow as feck service most tracks took more than hour via broadpipe.

Anyway Little Speaker is possibly the stand out track so far-luscious, could go on longer IMO even though it's already over 8 minutes. The best bit is 7mins in Sola Sistim is a downtempo track with a sun drenched, chill out vibe.
Dinosaur Adventure 3D is kind of similar to 'king of snake' instantly recogniseable as Underworld. The vocal is a bit strange, a sort of wailing eastern flavour to it in parts, a second listen has kind of brought this together more.

Bastard Ess Gee which took 2 fucken hours to come through is the same as Dinosaur Adventure.:machinegun:
