i too was there.. it was f***ing brilliant, i had reservations about going at first, but i,m glad i did, its up there with some of the best gigs i,ve been to..
not so sure about the shit ale tent though..
very good sound, especially for outdoors..
a while ago i read an interview with joe strummer and he said steve jones was his favourite punk guitarist because when he was on stage he sounded like a ten man guitar orchestra.... i can see what he means now!!

Wish I'd gone to this now. Was so very tempted to do so. Put off by the response I got when I circulated an e-mail to my gig-going mates re Siouxsie & The Banshees a couple of weeks before this came up. Yep, not one soul interested.
While Satdy night in Cafe Uno, Brentwood is fine, it aint quite Lydon & Co giving it large. Grrr.
