Not for free, anyway. It's not something you can click and order from their website, but if you're clever you can figure out *how* to order it - other people have.

I got my copy of the VARA Master about 2 months ago! To be honest, I'm not sure if it's still available. The packaging is serialized for each buyer, and some people believe the audio is water-marked for each buyer as well; so each buyer is held responsible for their recording!

I know when the information on how to get a copy was shared, it was made clear that “this service is not for general consumption, and that a few copies would be made available to members of JDC". I’m not saying that you can’t get a copy, but I’m unsure if the service is available anymore. The buyer needs help to get a copy; you have to contact the right person.

Is anyone else having problems reaching it? I get to the Mediafire site fine but the link just times out. Nowt wrong with my net connection or router, checked that.

Thanks for the effort by the way, nice to have the final single.

Would someone kindly pm me directions for ordering. If this was offered at JD central, certainly someone was given instructions for ordering. I have a hard time believing each individual who ordered a copy just went to that website and figured it out by poking around.

thanks in advance

Clear your browser cache and restart your machine. The link works fine.

I work on a service desk so "turning it off and on" is a way of life ;)

Anyway, the link works for me now without me needing to do anything to my system so I've just downloaded it. The link was perhaps down/overloaded for a brief period a few hours ago. It is a free service after all.

Thanks again. Chucking it on the iPod now.

P.S. Let hope this forces London Records to come out with quality Joy Division releases in the furture, instead of half-ass releases that don't hold their weight; like a vinyl box-set of the singles....lol

u wont need to lol soon!

Not until the moment Morrissey gets hold of the fact that New Order have been done before

The Smiths singles won't be uploaded until we're done with all of them, then they'll be posted in a matter of hours because we also suspect the site won't last long.

With my usual luck I will probably miss out on it then. :\ohwell:

You're not planning on giving out any hints in advance, are you?

Apparently that is not how you've been doing it so far. Does that mean that the threat of a closedown is not imminent and that you have at least silent approval from The Man?

But The Smiths were shit and Morrissey disappeared up his own anus many years ago. And he's still got the same fucking haircut - tosser. How about documenting some "missing" New Order tracks like the instrumental World remix that was on the b-side of the UK 12" of Ruined in a Day that nobody but me seems to remember? Why not start uploading New Order studio recording tracks individually so remixers can start doing their stuff...? Fuck the other MCR shit. And, let it be said that 50Quid's work on Recycle is worthy of a Knighthood.

All of that stuff is coming, and thank you.

My involvement with Extra Track is strictly the artwork. I didn't choose the project - it chose me.

That said, there are any number of bands whose single I want to tackle: Nitzer Ebb at the top of the list, The Cure, Meat Beat Manifesto, Dead Or Alive.

My compatriot over at Extra Track wants to tackle REM but he doesn't have the artwork, and there's no fan resource like Vulgar Picture.

This quote is from the Recycle site.

Can't wait to hear these. Once again thank you so much Mr £50 Note!

I'm desperate for the 12" extended mix of Primary by The Cure. Would love to see them tackled next.

Nitzer Ebb's Belief and Showtime would sound great given your stellar treatment

I think this will be on Mixed Up 2 which is going to be released next year, together with the remaster of Wish.

Here's a couple of pics of MY Recycle sleeves then.... all line up together:

This is the re-vamped Substance 1981-1990 sleeve done as a miniature LP gatefold CD wallet....

Will be uploading pics of the RECYCLE container that houses all the 20 CDs in due course when I've got round to getting pics of it.
