I can remember when it was aired just after Tony's death, cracking wee programme Factory(From Joy Division to Happy Mondays)

If ye's liked that then the Shadowplayers DVD is a must. Even more interviews on the early days of Factory on there and some cracking stories, espescially with the Cassidy brothers :thumb:

I finally got round to watching this last week. A fasicinating insight into the workings of Factory, the Hacinenda, New Order, Martin Hannett and the state of Manchester.

Best quote (Hooky) "everytime we played Top Of The Pops, the record went down the charts, cos we were so crap"

And the one from Barney about Factory putting £50k in and New Order putting £50k in to save factory. But New Orders 50% was taken from unpaid royalties.

And then the one from Tony Wilson asking if Factory ever made a business decision to make a profit. His answer was "no" as he laughs at the craziness of it all.

A really great unique story.
