I love this track, its sooo different, when I bought the 12" in 82 I liked it more than the A side. It used to get played in this dive club in Soho around 82-83 we did the mental slam on the floor. Ohh to be young again doing that shit again.

Always thought the lyrics were:

'I am fun you CAN'T enjoy'

hence the title, 'Hurt'.

I always thought it was "I am fun you CAN enjoy" but Christophe's certainly makes sense....I am CONFUSED :lol:

My 12" has the labels round the wrong way - so I actually played Hurt before Temptation.....and yes Donnie Boy Brasco - I like this tune an all :nod: not a big favourite, but on any early compilation tapes I do, Hurt always gets an airing;)
