I really wish I hadn't listened to that. If all the lyrics are of similar ilk then my hopes of a good album are sinking fast .... 
The song sounds very good and it is also going to be on the album, so I don't think that it is a B-side but I also could be wrong, but they have to get better artwork then the crap they have on the link.

Personally, I haven't heard any Freebass (non-demoed) stuff yet...
I am, however, liking the b-side a lot more than the a-side of "Sink Or Swim"!

We don't expect Bernard to be like Shakespeare of anything...one thing about lyrics is, I think Bernard said in an interview (maybe more than one) that what he writes tends to come from his subconscious.
So maybe that's why the lyrics sometimes are similar? Whatever the reason, I don't really care.

Are they going to try to sell us a copy, once they've given it away for free?

I admit I giggled a little on hearing a doubling up of "whatcha " and "doin'". Andy McCluskey does this a lot, too, with "walking on air" and "joan of arc" in several songs. Doesn't stop me from liking the track but it is definitely set in my mind as "words he obviously likes to use as lyrics". Ol' Bernard also likes that swimming imagery as I'm rather sure I remember it in the Electronic stuff as well.
I'll just have to not listen to it back to back with other songs with the same word progression in it and it'll be fine.

not bothered about the lyric similarity, but both tracks (now I've got a proper mp3 of sink or swim) sound to me like there's quite a bit of pitch correction on the vocal.
Happy with it musically though.

Was never fully satisfied with dynamos. Battery powered lights were more expensive what with having to buy new batteries but the dynamo could not but slow the wheel up. And of course there is no back light when you're stopped at traffic lights.
