.....well not quite, but he could have done.

Popped out of the office this lunchtime for a quick bite to eat & who do I bump into strolling down Oxford Street?, no less than our own Phil C.

His girlfriend was spending OUR hard earned cash in Selfridges while he was off down to Tottenham Court Rd to look at some Guitar shops. Whenever he said 'guitar' he accompanied it with a little strumming motion, just in case I wasn't familiar with the word

Nothing to report really, he wasn't sure whether he'll be involved with the recording of the new album. Barney & Hooky are ok with the idea but the Gillian situation still isn't sorted apparently.

He spent yesterday working with Arthur Baker at his North London Studio but I didn't ask for any details on this and he's got some work lined up playing with a band in LA shortly.

Spent about 10 mins chatting away & from what I could tell he's a totally unaffected nice fella.

Big up Phil C :thumb:

  yer mad bastard.

Can't recall what he was wearing but he did have an expensive looking set of shades rested fasionably on his head.

My Sarni? Club from Pret a Manger. Yum. And as you seem to be a small-cruncher ROCKET MAN, an extra special bit of detail, I was standing in line waiting to be served at a fruit stall. Oh, of course, 2 Nectarines. For 60p. ;)

As nice as Phil is, I do hope Gillian records the next CD. Her Work on Vicious Streak and Someone like you was great.

I don't know whether you've noticed but this is a band whose new record is supposed to be started two months from here and:

1- They still don't know whether a basic member of the band, married to another member of the band is going to be involved.

2-They still don't know whether the musician who's been playing live with them for the past year is going to be involved. Said musician lives in LA and has already a different job lined up, it seems.

We should not hold our collective breath for the next album.

I think we will see more from the band, perhaps not quite as soon as we may like (remember the creative process cant be rushed!!!!) but both Hooky and Barney have independantly said their planning a new album so lets see what turns up!
