UK NOOL Christmas Party? — Forum Archive

Anyone interested in a NOOL Christmas Party held in either London or Manchester (or both)- NOOL members & their guests only?

I know it's early, but hiring a venue, etc. takes a while to organise.

Suggestions anyone?

I don't mind co-organising something - I was thinking of hiring a hotel function room or similar. That way, say £10 a head, we should have quite a reasonable set up.

If anyone wants to shout me down on this one, please feel free - I just thought it would be a nice idea.

Alternatively, if anyone does have suggestions or wants to help out, let me know.

Great idea! I had considered organising NeworderOffline parties for some time and to be honest there have already been a few loose get-togethers in pubs/clubs across the length and breadth of the UK...or to be more specific, 2 nights out in Glasgow, 1 in MCR (quite eventful by all accounts!) and a couple of footy related excursions in the big smoke!

Manchester would be the ideal location really.

Roll on Christmas.

Aye count me in as well - Jeff the Chef's gonna come over from America for a Christmas / New Years Eve bash. There'll be fookin loads of us if it's organised properly :nod:

I can't leave until the 26th of December at the earliest Shuggy...which means the earliest I could be in London would be the 27th...which by my calcualations would be AFTER Christmas...ah well...maybe something could be arranged...

If that's the case, I'm actually impressed with the content of his messages!!!!!

(but I would be less impressed with his promise to never come back here again -- but I wouldn't expect that)
