Really, honestly..... I can't help but stifle a small yawn on hearing that after the fall outs, with no one left to hold the fort, the whole thing has been unceremoniously binned .....

I believe Brandon Flowers is looking to working with one of New Order. One of them could do with giving Mr Foghorn Leghorn Flamingo Legs a call.

You serious? If he did that you wouldn't hear anything of Steve or Gillian cos HIS great big foghorn voice would overshadow absolutely everything, rendering the entire exercise unlistenable.
Did you not read that [free weekday commuter newspaper] METRO '60 second interview' with him a couple of months ago where he said that on his new solo album his vocals were much louder than normal, which was something he was personally very pleased about? WTF?? I mean - RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!!
I think the best Brandon Flowers record is one where the faders are pushed down to -1.
