Hell, the parallels continue: Waters even has his son in the band.
I think the reason why there's criticism of Hooky doing such things here is maybe because it's a JD/NO forum...plus, I think most of the people would have a stronger opinion about Hooky doing such because they are fans of Joy Division. I don't think all Pink Floyd fans necessarily love the idea of the guy doing The Wall, either.
