OK Burt, just for you!! It seems a bit odd that Chris Lowe is taking lead vocal duties on a single when he's normally reluctant to do PSB B sides. This cover is ok but nothing special. I'm looking forward to hearing Hellbent...

I would rank it average, certainly nothing special, the vocals have received a lot of praise on the website, but I find them a little dull and lacking passion.

This comes as absolutely no surprise.

SubCulture was to all intents and purposes the Pet Shop Bores single that never was. New Order went all Boystown with that one remember? And let's not forget the priceless slap bass intro to Face Up either - pure SAW-era Dead Or Alive!!!
