New Order release a remix album, HERE TO STAY, on Oct 14. It contains the original 12" versions of BLUE MONDAY, TBTHOG, PERFECT KISS, THIEVES LIKE US, TRUE FAITH, BLT, SHELLSHOCK & CEREMONY. It is previewed with a remix single of CONFUSION on Sept 23.

I think so. "Here To Stay" is going to be released in Brazil as well and the tracklisting matches the French "Best Of" so I conclude we are talking about the same album.

Oh, and the release date here in the land of big butts is October 15th too.

"Remix Album"?? when it contains the original 12inch versions of New Order singles? And why is it called "Here To Stay" if it doesn't even feature the track of the same name? This sounds like some sort of record company pisstake...I don't understand why this is being issued at all....surely it's more worthwhile waiting for this box set that's been promised, plus the last Steve Lamaq Session that was aired a few months ago.

Why are New Order fans being ripped off like this?

Good news for New Order devotees! Not only are they about to release their contribution to the Back To Mine Series, they also have a remix album released on October 14 entitled Here To Stay, which groups together 12” mixes of their single releases. The track listing is…Ceremony, Blue Monday (original 12” mix), Confusion (Arthur Baker 12” mix), Thieves Like Us, Perfect Kiss (original 12”), Shellshock, Bizarre Love Triangle (Shep Pettibone 12 “ Mix), True Faith (original 12” Mix), Touched By The Hand Of God (original 12” mix), Crystal, 60MPH and Here To Stay.

did the French Best Of include Here To Stay? this may be a slightly different product like the US/Uk best of's differed slightly.....still a rip off.

Will this just be issued on CD only or will it be a vinyl edition as well? Some of us old vinyl junkies would still like it to be issued on crackly black plastique.... otherwise, consider it well and truly boycotted by me.

Lets face it if they re-released Substance with a different cover & title some people (me included) would buy it. The record company know this so away they go. Anyone missing the Factory years?

Oh yes, those wonderful Factory days. Why they didn't just issue a straight carry on from where Substance finished off I just don't understand. I'm gonna wait for it to be in the HMV or Virgin post xmas sale.
