Surely the only legitimate release is Exhibit C. Freshly dug up from Muffy's back garden I believe.

Here, here. I've seen that 'Get Remixed' on ebay a number of times, looks like the same guy rolling it out once a month. Nice little earner for him.

Yeah, technology is helping bootleggers to make their creations appear legit. I'm ok with this when it's made clear that's what it is but too often these are marketed as the real McCoy :nonono:

Perhaps you'd prefer Van McCoy?

I'd imagine you'd perform quite an entertaining "Hustle", Gilesy.

The bootleggers are getting quite good int they! If I had seen these on a market stall, I definitely would have said they were originals.....although even Everything's Gone Wrong wouldnae have had me fooled.....cos that's on of my creations:evil4:

I'm a little sceptical about that one Depthy. As far as I know, there is a German Rough Trade test pressing that has the marbled vinyl, but it shouldn't have a picture sleeve.

if the right music is on it, how can it not be legit? even with all the technology we have, i doubt a bootlegger can create that.

That guy launches 4 CD's at least once a month - all of which are boots. He also does the Side Projects CD's too - I think the are also mp3 too.

...As confirmed in the Ivarsson Discography.

I'm wondering if perhaps the vinyl is legit and it's been housed in the standard PCL sleeve. A photo of the record on 'the other site' suggests that the marble colouring and white label are spot on.

Indeed, the sleeve could be for "illustrative" purposes only!

Sorry, I knew the PC&L was legit, I was just showing it for the pleasure. only 200 existing in the world!

The PC&L is legit, yes, I myself had once the chance to buy one of those, in a shop in Germany, but I was so skint as a student that it was simply impossible.

as for the boot CDs descripted above, they are simply shit. That fake DVD of the Best Of is simply an ecoding of the UK Best Of VHS or Japanese Laserdisc, and the last videos, 1) London Records would proably not release the second video as it has simply been commissionned by Reprise Records, USA 2) The bootleggers didn't even put in the videos for Nineteen63 and BM95, thing that London would have done if they released a DVD with all the videos from Get Ready (which would pretty worsen the main feeling of the "old" video collection - let's face it, those Get Ready vids are shite - as far as I know there never was a "digital" release of the Best/Rest videos...

Crystal has two videos?

The second is a somewhat forgettable version found only on the US 'Crystal' DVD single.

what happens in it?

Boy meets girl, girl gets frustrated with boys boiled egg hobby, girl splits with boy, boy meets rabbit, rabbit ingests fence post by mistake ...

you know, the usual.

Boring... why didn't they do something interesting like get a load of young stand in's to mime as a band called, say.. "the killers" ?

As per usual, another outrageous distortion of events by Hucklebut.

The only thing I can remember in it was a phalanx of aardvarks chasing a toy designer across a hockey field in Teesside. He wore an unusual hat.

... and he bore an uncanny resemblence to Bradley Pitt.

And DC, it's Teesside.

Cheers Huckler. Was it vampire Brad or gypsy Brad?

BTW I think the word you were looking for was resemblance.

There's no need to be picky.

I didn't watch the whole thing; I believe it was just a shot of a bicycle going through city streets.

It might have been, Jeff; it was awfully boring, whatever it was.
