Oy, not another "what are you listening to lately" thread! Oh well, I'll bite:

Picked up Louder Than Bombs a few days back, that's been getting some heavy rotation on the ole CD player. Also dug out an olde-but-a-goodie, The Animals' Best Of (first cd I ever bought) a few weeks back, I'm thinking of listening to it some when I have a little "off-time" next week.

These CD's are almost always either in my CD player, or very close to it.

Fugazi, Orbital, Cursive, Eels, even some Suede. As for the Underground Lovers - well, each to their own. I reckon they suck the big one meself, but that's only my opinion. CTB :bear:

I've been collecting Lou Reed and Iggy Pop for the past couple of weeks. As for what I'm listening to, I pretty much jump from one band to another each month. Last month I dug out my Nirvana albums and played them alot since that new best of came out. The month before was Pink Floyd and Happy Mondays.

I want to work on a David Bowie collection next once I get all the 70's Reed and Pop albums I've been working on.

Last things I listened to were Lou Reed's "Rock and Roll Animal", a Lemonheads bootleg and the New Order Blackpool Scamps 1980 gig. Retro indeed.

I picked up the Manics' Greatest Hits a couple of days back, it's pretty solid. I always thought it was a shame how they kind of faded from view after Sep. 11, seeing as they were very outspoken. At any rate, highly recommend it.
