Another something which may delay recording etc, is that Bernard's about to be a Dad again (or may even already be, as I type). Was out in Pompey on Friday night and my mate Gary had bumped into Bernard and his Very Pregnant Partner at the Southampton Boat Show last week. Bernard's partner said they were hoping for 'another little Bernard'. Aah, sweet. Didn't really say too much about New Order - seems most of the conversation was about boats and engines! - but Barney did say he was a wee bit reticent about playing Pompey again cos three carloads of lads followed them from their last gig there, then got involved in a very nasty accident and all turned up in the Hacienda a week later with castes on arms and legs, etc.

i must admit, this does make me rather jealous. i've said it before, i find bernard rather fetching, even now that he's 'let himself go' a bit. but i'd still like to 'give him the old college try' if you know what i mean.

I'm afraid it wasn't french humour (but my answer to this guy was).
We had one of the funniest threads ever with a guy who wrote something like "Hey I am new to NO, music's cool, Barney's gay, right" I think Jarvo put him out of his misery. Worth rereading if you have time in your hands.
