Wasn't the 12" version of TPK supposed to be on the upcoming "International" compilation (f/k/a "Here to Stay")? I see that the track listings that are circulating around have the running time for TPK at 4:49. Anyone else disappointed?

...seems to be the butchered album-version from the "low-life"-album...

Not the one that fades out at the end? Ugh.

Not as disappointing as:

  1. Using the 'Confusion' vocal instead of the 'Confused Instrumental', and:

  2. Choosing '60mph' ahead of 'Close Range'.

If this has been said before, I apologize!

I think the full 12" of TPK is going to be on the Japanese version. At least that's what THIS track-listing I read at eil.com says.....

Well, you can always pop in disc one of Substance if you must. I'm sick of "best-of's" period myself. It just gives the record company an excuse to butcher the songs and rerelease them for more profit. Why don't they just have a telethon the next time they need more money for a luxery yacht:

"Okay people, so far during the 'Give London Records More Filthy Money' Telethon, we've only raised $5.9 million! C'mon, people! These men have families to feed, mistresses to support, and blackmailers to pay off! You think they'd eb able to do that on only $5.9 million?"

except the version on Substance is not the "full 12" version"........

Yeah, the CD version of "Substance" cuts out a minute of it towards the end, and also a minute of the track "Hurt". The full length version of "Hurt" (in CD format) can be found on that mega-rare "1981-FEP 313-1982" CD (which I own, just to rub it in). It would also be nice to finally have the uncut version of the "Subculture" 12 inch remix on CD... to laugh at.
