I'm about to take bets here.

Who thinks the band WILL BE in the 60 Miles An Hour video?

And if Turn My Way turns out to be a single, will the band + Billy Corgan be in that video.

And do you think it's important for the US sales of this album that the Turn My Way video features the band and Billy?

Personaly I think so, Turn My Way is the american hit of this album, no doubt in my mind, and putting the band with Billy in the video will garantee airplay in the US. (on MTV and VH1 of course)

i cringe while i say "good point"

the low point of new order's career will be appearing with billy corgan.

i love get ready but corgan was totally unnecessary.

they should save their gimmicks for soundtracks, compilations, free discs on magazines etc....

I agree that TMW is their only hope to make GR a commercial success in the U.S. I don't know that they have to be featured in every second of the video, but I do know that the video needs to be made with more of a view to commercial appeal than the Crystal video. I don't understand how anyone could possibly have thought that video would do anything for the promotion or marketing of the song or the album. The video was just monumentally stupid from that perspective.

The day new Order do anything from that perspective is the day they totally lose it. I felt that having old slaphead on Get Ready was a bit of a move in that direction, he adds fuck all to that song.
