Yes, Perfect kiss/Sooner Than You Think extended medley. The geezers need to gear up for their 2010 stint on the Vegas Strip and start the medley's. Those two songs would segue perfectly! 2 birds, 1 stone

I did just that very thing on Saturday night... Works every time... Oh, and you should try playing the last track on Music for Pleasure just as you`re coming down...

No, it isn't ![]()
Well, my bents must be unconsensual, 'cos my fav songs of Technique are All the Way, Love Less, Guilty Partner, Run, Vanishing Point and Dream Attack! I definitely don't like Mr. Disco and Round & Round (cheap PSBish pop songs, to my opinion). Fine Time is funny, but nothing more. Still, I find Technique is one of the best NO albums.
Ben.

Seem to remember Barney describing Dream Attack as an 'Acoustic E song' around the time of it's release!
Okay, I listened to R&R and it's much better than I remembered; maybe it was just the video that I didn't like. But I still think Vanishing Point is the best thing on Technique.
al, huntsman, wasn't fine time on snubtv not reportage? (& thought it was rapido & not reportage anyway?)
I fuckin hate it when it does that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Listen pop pickers, Fine Time was the sound of New Order trying to stay on the edge of things which is where they had always been. Anyone who was into the whole 'acid house' scene at the time, (circa 87-88), will know that thats what it was, its just that it sounded a little unusual coming from New order. You have to remember too that our heros played a not insignificant part in cultivating the whole scene, did any of you actually get to The Hacienda at that time? Yes, Fine Time is a moment in time, no more no less but it was and still is for me a brilliant record! Like Blue Monday it sounds best at full throttle in a club full of sweating maddies, try it. ![]()

Dave, you've just reminded me - it was Rapido (remember the way it went "Ra-ra-rappp-iiii-doe"??). Have got in on vid at home somewhere. Hooky spinning in some bizarre gym equipment upside down (up, down, turn around!)?!
I was actually on Snub TV - they had the Mondays doing 'Do It Better' from the Astoria (about March 89?) and they filmed a load of us just mooching around before the gig, then rucking in the audience. Now THAT was a fucking choooon, the opening bars still send chills up me spine!!!
back when antoine des caunes still looked remotely cool you mean? of course, student years! snub tv, now there was a program....
(spelling error corrected)
Funny, I think Round & Round and Mr Disco are my favorite tracks off Technique... it seems the contrary for some people!
Actually, Fine Time is not one of my favorite, and I always told this.. but I truly think putting SHELLSHOCK on the "best of" was the worst mistake, not Fine Time...!
Actually the song is one of my favorites, especially for the Barry White inspired speaking part. Kinda applies to a personnal situation I'm facing right now actually. Damn those underage girls!
