I have just received an email with this:

The 8-piece deluxe vinyl collection includes the album plus extended versions of all 11 tracks on coloured vinyl and packaged in an archival acid free box, using 1300 micron grey white board and a wire stitch, which is debossed on the lid and base.

Hmm..the way the email is worded it looks like the deluxe box set is also 25th September?

"Music Complete will be released on 25 September 2015 on CD, download and limited edition clear vinyl, standard black vinyl and deluxe box-set."

You get the impression from those photos that the box set is ready to go i.e released in sync with the vinyl and cd on 25th September, not November as previously stated.I thought the November thing was because it'd take them til then to get the box sets made up/manufactured but it's like they've got it together sooner than they'd planned and it's ready to go in September. As i said earlier in this thread that latest email seems to indicate it's 25th September. But maybe i'm just being optimistic[:)]

Oh, it does actually say now on the box set page 25th September

"Music Complete - Deluxe Vinyl Box Set £65.00 Pre-order - released on: 25/09/2015 "

But lower down in the details it still says November....

"THE ACTUAL BOX SET WILL DISPATCH EARLY NOVEMBER."

I did ask Mute about this week's back. They said due to the time scales on vinyl production they are covering themselves by stating November shipping, but if they can ship beforehand they will. I know the box set has been under design so it's most probably just been finalised and signed off and that's a mock up in those photos. I posted a quote from them in another thread somewhere I think.

EDIT: Found it. It's in the Music Complete thread -

"The box will be limited, but it is still in development stage. We are hoping the box set will ship a lot earlier, unfortunately, due to the current problems getting vinyl manufactured, we just couldn’t guarantee it being ready earlier. You will get the album on release date digitally."

It's always shown as November, but only when you click on the summary. We've just got to keep everything crossed that it's available earlier.

I'm sure you all know this already, but you can blame our bearded Hoxton hipster friends for this (you know, the ones who take a turntable with them to the pub to play music on their headphones whilst they sip their double skinny latte) as all the record plants are beyond capacity knocking out poor digital quality copies of vinyl records that they already own on CD for these fuckwits to buy..........
