There's a tube strike that day, so driving may be best!
Thanks for that mate. I didn't want to drive, but it look like I'll have too. It will be my first time driving in London. Are you from London?
Indeed, apples and pears an' all that, although personally I'm hoping the strike will get lifted cos otherwise it's a long schlep down to the Academy. And if you're coming from Cardiff my guess is your first taste of the Big Smoke will be Paddington, which is a journey and a half from Brixton.
Hi, all. Guys, does anyone know how I can go from central London (Oxford Street or Totenham court road...) to Brighton (East Sussex)? I finally got these tickets for the London gig, but I have to go take them... Anyone could help me... what bus number , or tube...etc..? I would appreciate it. thanx in advance... stark
p.s I'm having problems with this server!
Hey Sib. Well from what I know (I'm not British), Tube is the "underground". In my country we call it "metro". You know practically it is a fast train, which doesn't move with fuel - I think - , just electricity... :) I really hope someone will help me on this..., and from what i see, I will probably need railway, too stark

For Brighton you'd get the Victoria line from Oxford Circus to Victoria to catch a train there, or from Tottenham Court Road take a Northern Line down to Embankment, change there and catch a Circle or District to Blackfriars to catch a Thameslink train there.
However, if you're attending the Friday gig forget all the above cos there's no tubes running - there's a strike on!
thanx for the info. I appreciate it. Well it seems I will meet the guy downtown, after all. The tickets are for Wednesday 10th October. I guess I won't have any prob. So, now I'll have to find my way to Brixton... Academy stark

Yeah, we call it the METRO too in Montreal. But elsewhere, it would be the SUBWAY!
