Bizarrely, i now have an image of Peter Kay doing his "It's spitting!" routine in his stand up comedy but replaced by "It's shipping!" instead.

Good news, Fotz.
Mine still hasn’t dispatched. But I’m not panicking. Most of the time, I get dispatch notifications late at night for delivery the next day.
It’s just that Tuesday date that’s a bit annoying.

That is not the Koseinenkin Hall, Tokyo gig.The neworder YouTube channel has got that wrong.Unless it's from the other night they played there in '85.Didn't they do 2 nights there? In the PFD vid he wasn't wearing shorts and a white tee..So is this actually from the other night they did there or a mistake in the captioning by the neworder YouTube channel? 😕

It's Toronto.

the movement boxset - april 2019 - 14 pages of discussion - page 9 is when people started the 'its shipping' discussions i ended up getting it in jan of 2020 - of course i heard everything when it was released except for the dvd tracks.
so it was mostly speculation, came out, then a few pages about the tracks.
the power corruption and lies boxset - october 2020 - 21 pages of discussion - page 16 is when people talked about shipping i ended up getting it in february of 2021 - again heard everything when released
again, mostly speculation, and then a few more pages of discussion about the tracks
=======
so i figure there will a few more pages of, 'its shipping', it's not here, etc. then about 3-4 pages of actual discussion, and that will be it, before we move onto brotherhood speculation for the next year or two.
we are that predictable.

So what do you suggest instead, negzy lad ? 100 pages of audio analysis graphs?

Spare a thought for me. I've only recently bought Movement for £75 which is a price I think is reasonable. Maybe PCL later this year and LL in 2025 haha.

That's really bad. Guitar & Bass not in tune with each other. Worth it for the shorts and slip on shoes I suppose.
What a fantastic live band.
Just the energy. Hooky violent. Bernard cool as Hell. And Steve, my word. Got to be one of the greatest rock drummers of all time.
(I know I’ve missed Gillian but, given the camera angle, you don’t really get to see much Gilbert action. She’s class though, obvs.).
GotBlueEyes wrote: Just checked - mine has now dispatched and arriving tomorrow (from Amazon in the UK)
Good stuff. There’s hope for all of ours then (although no movement at this end currently).
I'll be waiting till it drops in price (hopefully) but my PK Crystal Clear has been shipped and can't wait to stream the Bonus Audio tomorrow.
Not sure if this link will work for people, it's a 1min unboxing that appeared on Facebook. These boxes certainly are top quality.

I dreamt for a second that it was the other night at Tokyo. And then I clicked the thumbnail. ![]()
That would be too surprising for New Order
Amazon have dispatched mine for delivery today. Phew. Hope everybody else is in a similar position.

From the beginning, Amazon (US) said to expect it on February 1st. This Thursday, they changed the expected delivery date to read "Wednesday" (which is February 1st!
). That's now been updated to "shipped" with delivery today (Friday).
No sign of the Sub-Culture, The Perfect Kiss and Shellshock digital versions of the 12" re-releases on digital download stores or streaming today. When the PCL box was released, the digital singles were available on the same day. Can't remember with Movement - I didn't buy them until a week after the box release date, so maybe they came out a week later.
Been looking forward to buying the CD quality downloads (or hopefully higher rez) from Qobuz. Let's hope they get released soon.
My box has been dispatched by Amazon to arrive tomorrow. 😎
I got it for £71.23 in the end. Like a few, I was surprised and put back by the initial £150 RRP and left my box and tshirt order in my 'bag' on the NO Store without checking out.
I recently placed my order at £121.23 with Amazon and by this time, I had earned a £50 voucher from doing the odd paid survey (roughly 1 a fortnight) with Yougov, which I probably started when the PC&L box came out!
Might go back for the tshirt if it's still in stock... 😁
Edit: LowLife & STILL tshirts on their way.
Haven't really got used to these tracks being freely available on YouTube. Seems weird.
So far, I'm resisting the temptation to listen to these.
Weirdly, the Let's Go Instrumental is 4:14. Wasn't it on download sites or YouTube a few weeks back at 2:01 or similar? Or have I imagined that? Perhaps it was only an extract.
Currently it's arriving Saturday but it may arrive today, who knows. I've had that happen before with Amazon

Yeah mine is now by 10pm Saturday....
...would really like to spend Saturday night watching the DVDs with a nice bottle of wine!
With vouchers got my box for £55.22 in the end...
...the service that pays me in Amazon vouchers for watching TV came up with a handy £70 of vouchers just in time!
Would prefer delivery today though - could still happen (glad I work from home).
Just checked my Qobuz Studio Streaming service and the two CDs are available for me to stream for free at 24-96 (Hi-Res)...
...not sure I want to jump the gun though before getting the box (despite the better than CD quality).
Sometimes Qobuz provide a PDF of the book with box sets (all Zappa box sets have this) - sadly no Low-Life book in the Qobuz Goodies section.
Just received my limited edition Perfect Kiss 12”. Oh my, it’s a thing of absolute beauty. The mirrored sleeve is very sturdy and the text is embossed. Inner sleeve is one-sided purple and the clear vinyl is heavy duty and, well, it’s just gorgeous.
Mine all just arrived.
Love that the SubCulture 12" inner sleeve is a black card cut-out disco sleeve, so exactly the same as the original 12", but it's only the inner!
The dark grey OBI strip on the box looks great against the silvery grey
My inner of my standard Perfect Kiss 12" i'd say is bright pink rather than purple, so don't know if that's different to the mirrored edition, or just us being colour-blind

Was going to say the same thing. My limited Perfect Kiss has arrived and it looks glorious.
By 'purple', is it more Magenta, because that's what mine is? I'm not splitting hairs; it's just that the original single was released with different colour inners (I think), so wondered if they did the same here.
GotBlueEyes wrote: Mine all just arrived.
I'm a bit jealous. Hopefully not too long to wait now.

Ah, yes. Just spotted this. See my comment above. I'm guessing they're all the same. Does the standard version have an inner sleeve and, if so, what colour?

Mine is the standard grey 2023 issue - inner seen here against the grey outer and the black inner of SubCulture to give a colour comparison
So untitled 1 (writing session) sounds like a nascant BLT. Hooky's bass is nice here - melodic and warm. Too bad it's only 1:30
Re: Untitled 2 (writing session). The arpeggio-ish keyboard melody from 0:00 to 0:29 (and 1:27 to 1:56, and 2:53 to 3:21 etc) reminds me of something, but I cant think what. Possibly not New Order. Liking the funky synth bass line, and Hooky really gets into it as the track goes on. It doesn't seem to be an obvous precursor to a better known NO track. That's a shame because it feels like it could have gone to be something worthwhile. But great that it has been unearthed. Perhaps not for the first time?

Yodel reliably informs me mine will be here tomorrow (purchased from the NO store).
I pre-ordered the Hi-Res audio off of Qobuz so I've got the CD stuff in 24-bit this afternoon. Just dumped it onto my phone for a listen as I finish work.
Noting very little difference between the "2022" and the "2015" master - both by Frank Arkwright - so assuming this isn't exactly a completely "new" remaster? Nevertheless...
As Mr Discography correctly notes, I'm not seeing digital versions of the 12" singles on digital services yet. Hope they appear soon.
