I understand mail in general is fucked up right now, and there are still issues related to the pandemic, and I could understand if the the entire campaign at large was delayed, but it's extremely frustrating knowing plenty of people already have their boxes and mine is sitting in a warehouse somewhere, when I paid quite a bit of money up front the day it went on sale.

Amazon shows all the individual items in stock, but I have to go through the official site to get the t-shirt as well.

Mine has not arrived (I ordered the bundle with the clear vinyl TPK the week it went on sale). I received an email last week providing a shipping number from UPS but all that number does on the tracking is say that a shipping label has been created but it has not shipped. No response to my email inquiring as to the status. Grrrrr 😡

I just opened up my shipment from the NewOrder store. Everything was packaged fine...except they put the four 12" singles in a box that was too small. As luck would have it, the mirrored TPK 12" single was on top of the stack in the box and the sleeve got a little bent up and shows ring wear from being pressed against the record. Unfortunate.

Really didnt want to buy that Blank & Jones compilation, as there were some songs I really dislike from the 80s on it, and some quite iffy 12" mixes. Seemed a lot of money just to get a digital version of one track, when I could stick with the existing vinyl rip until the digital reissue of the original 12".

Yep, baffling. I've been refreshing digital stores every couple of days but no joy. We got Ceremony (both versions), EGG, Temptation, Blue Monday, Thieves and Murder but no sign of the 3 x Low-Life singles. Did someone at Warner Music forget?

On Friday it'll have been 2 weeks since the Low-Life box was released. With both the Movement/PC&L boxes, their "orbiting" singles were released around the same time, so I guess if they're not out by this weekend then we're not getting them this time around.

The Mute-era New Order singles have been untouchable in this respect; well packaged vinyl coupled with free Hi-Res downloads, which is how it should be done for music fans in 2023. Mute do that with all their artists and not just NO.

As consolation, the corrected Collector's Editions from 2009 have decent masters of the full TPK 12" and Sub-culture/Dub-vulture twelve inch versions... but we've been waiting a while for modern versions of Kiss of Death, Perfect Pit and Shellcock.

The full 9+ minute 12" version of Shellshock has been available on a Blank & Jones So80s compilation for over a decade.

Am hopeful these will still appear soon.

Only got the PC&L singles released in the US. No Movement singles and now it looks like no LL.

To be honest I hadn't even noticed it, so never tried looking for it. It seems unlikely given the single was two years earlier.

It does seem weird that this was ever considered by the band. As you say, Confusion was old at the time. More likely to be TPK etc.

Hold on, that image rings vague bells for me of watching an 80s clip of them being interviewed in that part of the world. Or am i getting mixed up with something else? The sofa and 80s image quality seems familar😕 But i've definitely never seen a clip of them performing a song on a tv show from Hong Kong.Or Japan.

Edit: ah i think the Japanese one i'm thinking of is Steve & Gillian interviewed 1988. Though i think that one wasn't orginally Japanese tv anyway, it was Music Box: Rock of Europe but was also shown on Japanese tv with Japanese subtitles and a Japanese presenter is seen at the end. The interviewer is a female English voice.

Oh and i realise now i"d stated Japanese tv. Checked the image again in the book in the Low life box and it is Hong Kong tv, not Japan. My mistake. From Wikipedia, the programme 'Enjoy Yourself Tonight' ran from 1967-1994 and it seems had a musical performance by a group or artist each week.So, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that New Order did perform a song on it. Alas, it may only ever have been seen by the tv audience in that part of the world, wasn't recorded to VHS by anyone and forever more was forgotten in the mists of time. Unless someone in Hong Kong has VHS tapes as a collection in his or her attic of every episode of the show (er, probably not eh?). I have a feeling we'll never know. Unless Steve or someone remembers performing a song on the show.

The clip I have is of two separate interviews, presumably from two different TV studios (and on different days, looking at the change in clothes). Interestingly, both clips contain live performances, but from different TV programmes (Play At Home Haç footage and BBC Rock Around The Clock). Maybe the band decided not to mime and provided live footage from a gig instead?

And, yeah, based on Gillian's and Hooky's hair etc, plus the fact that 1984 live footage was shown, the interviews were likely at the end of April 1985 (i.e. when the band were next in the far East following those '84 clips).

I think I found it online about three years ago. I was quite pleased when I found it, as I’d never seen it before and it seems pretty rare to have something from Hong Kong.

I’m about 90% sure I grabbed it from YouTube, so thanks to the original uploader (whoever that may be).
