Fotz wrote: Posters, yes I had a few back in the 80s but one reason and another they’re now all long gone. Guess the idea of having posters on my wall was something I grew out of. I had that Factus 8 one, it covered almost ceiling height to floor on my bedroom wall at the house I grew up in. Also even had Thieves Like Us one. And one with 1981 era photos of the 4 band members. Also had a massive one of the Low Life cover. Oh and a Perfect Kiss one( with a kind of a theme based on the video). Slightly annoying I no longer have any of them.

Edit: The Perfect Kiss poster was something like this , though from Googling, there’s a few variations on it

is that poster really worth UKP 1000? wow.

i don't even like how it looks, i'd prefer it to be the saville 12 inch cover.

Looks really nice... I think my only item signed by all four is the fluffy Republic

It was free with the 30 years of New Order issue of Clash magazine I think. So 30 years would have been 2010. Or 2011, depending on if you classed 30 years from when they formed New Order or 30 years since their first release in 1981. I have a feeling it was 30 years since they formed , so 2010. Either way, I never managed to obtain a copy and so don’t have the poster.

Awesome... I thought they weren't even talking to each other circa Republic, let alone signing stuff. I have an extremely rare copy of Unknown Pleasures. Unsigned by Peter Hook. Goes for thousands. Did you meet them personally or did you purchase these items? The only one I've ''''met'''' was Hooky for autographs with The Light. That's me he's signing for and shaking hands with at the end of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIxdEzg0F5s . What a star. He's famous too.

That was certainly the cover image on Clash magazine but I don't remember the poster coming with it. 🤔

^ Oh , yep you’re both correct I guess. Don’t know where I got the idea the poster came free with the magazine. I must have incorrectly assumed it did . Sorry for mistake. Oops.

Cool. I once met Cameron Diaz. I admit it was intimidating, finally face to face with the world's most gorgeous, talented, successful, strikingly attractive, fabulously wealthy, megastar sex symbol... But after the initial nerves, she calmed down.

Did you ask him to take his t-shirt off first or does he always do that before bowing? Strange fellow.

I got the 4th February 1989 issue of NME at the time with the Technique stickers thing. Couldn’t resist back then sticking them on a cassette I made of the album. Still have it.

Yes! Found it at last. The fold out promo card thing for Get Ready. Was beginning to think I’d accidentally thrown it out. Can’t remember how I obtained it now but it was around the time of Crystal and Get Ready. Maybe the record shop was giving them away with the Crystal CD single or something?...

That Republic stuff is awesome. Shame the album's such a fucking pile of total and utter fucking shit. I remember reading about the Technique stickers in the Record Mirror article. Never seen them though. I remember that substandard Pleasures and Wankward Distractions buke moaning about how shops outside the UK had stickers to tell people what they were buying. Indie snob.

The Wakefield design was used in that Clash Magazine retrospective.

Afterwards the image was blown up and officially released as a limited quantity print on high quality paper stock, with titles.

Have exactly that on my wall too. Lovely.

I really haven't had that level of interest since the mid 90s. The last oddity I picked up was probably Run 2.

Fucking Hell. How could they make so much out of so little? London outdo themselves yet again.
