Does anyone know on what CD (if any) can I find the original 12" Arthur Baker mix of "Confusion" from 1983? I'm also interested in the 7" version of that one. I just got the French version of "International" and it has the 1987 "Confusion" (which I think is quite inferior to the original). Thanks to all.

There is a double CD compilation of Arthur Baker productions entitled "Breakin" that features the original 12" version of "Confusion".
I've heard that this track is also in one of the versions of "International" but I'm not sure which one, so I suggest you to buy all of them to find the right one. :evil:
Thank you so much. I just ordered the Arthur Baker set. I couldn't find the Shaun Ryder one. I too heard the original was going to be on at least one version of "International", but I haven't been able to determine which one(s). I can't believe it's not slated to be on the box set either. I ordered the recent UK CD single featuring 5 mixes of the track, but I'm sure it won't be one of those either! I just think the original is far superior to the 1987 version. "International" would have been so much better if they use the correct "Confusion"!!
The Confusion featured on the Arthur Baker compilation is the "Rough Mix" from the b-side of Fac93. The original a-side is going to be on Retro.

Nuffink I ain't already got, anyway. The only new thig for me will be the 'Paradise' remix from 1987 which I never managed to track down. Got everything else - interesting live stuff accepted.
Seriously, i'm glad I've got it at 17 quid from HMV on a pre-order, as I'm basically buying it for the live album!

The various bits I've read indicate that it will not be the 1983 "Confusion" on RETRO. Hope I'm wrong...
