Parts of Sputnik were incorporated into IALP at one of the Australian 87 dates, which was as near as it got to being played !

So they lied in Paris when they introduced BM as "this is fucking Blue Monday... Played it 3000 times"... :D

There's a few small errors and omissions in the set-lists as listed on the Tours and Concerts page - Ultraviolence, for example, was not played at Rennes 11 December 85, the song played was 586. Ultraviolence retired after St Austell Cornwall Coliseum 15 months earlier. There's quite a few gigs listed that have songs missing, including some that I have recordings of - if you want details I can provide these.

What would be interesting would be to do a pre-89 songs breakdown, i.e. from before they started doing the same set every night on a tour. That will give us a truer perspective on things.

5 setlists are missing in the 1988 Brazilian tour, this will change things a little bit.

Check your e-mail, Nicolas. ;)

Uh oh, you mean there'll have to be a recount? Look out for the hanging chads! (nice use of a cultural reference that's two years old, if I do say so myself...)

No surprise that BM is high on the list. Poor bastards, I'm sure they'd love to just leave the stage and let the drum machines go on and on.....:drummer:

There must be more.. I don't have the tracklisting of the very first show neither...

Water Rat did a marvellous job completing a list, we based our list mostly on the New Order anthologies, and I sure know Mr Benny has more than I need to tell me what's wrong and where ;)

Answer is YES, if you can provide omissions and errors, it would be great.

I don't own your collection ;)

Rumour has it that it was to be a cover of "Needles and Pins" but they couldn't work it out ;)

Er, this includes Joy Division, right, as how on earth could Tranmission have 55 plays?!

Amazing that Regret's over 50? Thinking on though, I guess they've played it at Every Single Gig they've done in the past nine years! That takes some beating!! (Although, thinking on again, I think BLT's also been done at every gig in the past nine years too - can't think of any it's missing from).

Yeah it must do, as LWTUA is listed as 71 plays.

There's only been 3 gigs in the last 15 years that haven't featured True Faith, or something like that. There's only been one gig since True Faith was written that hasn't featured either True Faith or BLT.

You trying to out-anorak me?

There's been 3 gigs in the past 15 MONTHS that haven't featured True Faith!

Amazing though, to think on what you say. This band have basically been 'stadium' for fifteen years now and the setlist have been very formulaic for longer than I care to remember!

Sorry, I originally worked that sad stat out at the end of the 2001 dates, and regurgitated it without looking at the 2002 sets !
