...In the new issue of Q. I would have provided a link but it's not on their webs(h)ite! They gave it 3 stars, moaned a bit about Run2 not being on it and said "New Order have become difficult again".

What's the story with Run2? I get conflicting reports as to why it's never resurfaced. One says that Denver's lawyers had a clause put in the legal settlement that it could never be released again, but then I also heard that the master had been "damaged" which is why MTO has sunk without trace too. Maybe the two are linked?

There's also one in the latest issue of Uncut (The Who are on the cover).

They gave it *****

It's got the picture of them with Barney wearing the Don't do Drugs T-shirt. Oh, the irony.

Master has been "damaged" sounds more like a lame excuse that explaining the out of court settlement was to stop the distribution of the song right now.

BTW, is the John Denver lawsuit against RUN 2 or RUN? I was always curious, if it was about Run, new copies of Technique could have the "John Denver" credit in it.

Plus, we all gave Retro shitty reviews, so what do you expect? :D

It took a bonus 5th disk to shut our mouths (sp?)

I thought the suit was against Run2

Maybe the fifth disk shut a few people's mouths, but most just moved onto whining about things like liner notes.
