If it's anything like Getready.com, I certainly won't be visiting it very often, we get the news quicker here and on WIM! Let's hope someone's put a bit of effort intae it this time.
At least they are doing something.
NewOrderWeb.com was better than NewOrderGetReady.com simply because it's not related to an album, but to the band.. somehow they never updated it when Get Ready was out, but..
NewOrderGetReady LOOKED good, but was seriously a pain in the *** to navigate through, plus, it had no information at all to help you find New Order informations on the web.
But I have a feeling that if they did, they would put us in there :D

There are links to some pictures, videos and notes but its not that fantastic. It only took me about 10 minutes to plough through everything.

Why doesn't the band just pay you to do the "official" site? Your page is much better than theirs. Politics? Oh, well. Let them spend tons of money on a site that's basically worthless in 5 or 6 months and in fact isn't even necessary now. Much better resources for NewOrder here and at the Niagra Discography/Gigography. NewOrder's management will NEVER get it right. A lifetime of "what could have been"....
Well.. it's a hobby, not a day job you know.
I would of course love it, but if that happens, it has a better chance of happening with World In Motion, because David Sultan actualy speaks with the band management..
I'm just a poor engineer doing my job and trying to make it the best it can be... ;)
My idea from the start was, why don't we ALL do a site and ask the management to sponsor us (meaning, all fan sites together), which was basically the main thing behing NOOL at first..
But I never tried to get in touch with the band's management, I only worked with the label, and we had a massive "bad reputation" of being bootleggers for a while, and we were on a black list somewhere (the band management asked our sponsors to don't do business with us anymore), I think it's in the past now.. as I said several times, if they had just emailed me and give me their point of view instead of working in the shadow, maybe it would have turn better for the both of us.
But anyways, I know the official DM site and the official PSB sites are done by fans, and being paid by the band.. the Cure's website is done by them, which is, IMHO, the best thing of course...!
It's a good start. I enjoyed myself for 10 minutes, then I was done! I hope they add more, but I bet they are done.

I liked the design of the site. it´s a lot better than the incomprehenssible newordergetready! those pictures are supposed to be the ones on the booklet right? pretty good but... I hope there will be more on the actual booklet.
