I gave it a 7, the first half is definitely stronger than the second half in my opinion. Slow Jam is average, Rock The Shack I don't mind, Close Range didnt do much for me at first sounded a bit New Order by the numbers, but it has grown on me a lot, and I can even tolerate Run Wild now!
The best tracks for me are Crystal, Vicious Streak and Primitive Notion (brilliant Hooky bass). I think they could play Primitive Notion live, I think the closest they have done to it in terms of arrangement is Sunrise, and they pulled that off live no problems.
It ranks 4th on my list of New Order albums, just below Brotherhood with Technique and Low Life occupying the top 2.
A lot of it depends on what era you get into New Order me thinks. My sisters rate Republic as probably New Order's best, and Get Ready and Technique would be the only others they listen to.
